In my experience, people don’t always pull away because they aren’t interested. Sometimes I pull away when I’m overwhelmed or sick or depressed or going through something or busy. Sometimes I don’t wanna go through the work to explain that to someone so I just pull away. It’s not a lack of interest, it’s just life.

Seriously if the guy likes you more than you do, don’t need any techniques.

This is powerful stuff and absolutely on point. The more we feel confident in our own self love...the more we will attract potential partners who are confident they love us and want us. Those that fall by the wayside and become challenged or even intimidated by our self love...were never meant for us in the first place. I see it as the universe sifting the wheat from the chaff. It always gave me an indication of where I am within myself when I looked at the men I was attracting..

It depends if he is a narcissist, and then you definitely don't want him back. And have to just move on and try to avoid falling for this type and please look for the red flags and never ever wave them away.

@mathewcoast, this very interesting. I met a guy about 3 weeks ago, he seemed to be into it even at long distance, sexusl energy and he wanted sex chat etc. So as I didnt obliged right away, he wanted for us to meet and spend time together which we did and had a great time together. The thing is that after we had this nice weekend together, he went cold and distant.. so what am I missing?... beside the obvious fact that he got what he wanted and now what??.... This is baffling to me that he communicated that he was looking for a relationship that would be commited and now his actions just say the opposite. Any feedback?? Can you clarify what the heck I should do?? I don’t chase and although i do like this guy on different levels I am not willing to put myself through doubt and heartbreak for anyone anymore...

Well, most men that watch dating advice videos are overlooked, ignored, and devalued by women... they feel the same way about women that you feel about men. Telling men to grow up because they overlook a woman is like telling you to grow up because you overlook certain men.

Hi Mathew, I have this man that I recently fell inlove with in SG, he is from Ireland, a nice guy that suddenly pull away after he told me that he needs a break and he missing me around. So he drops everything and left his business or project in SG and he told me he is heading back to Ireland to take a break. But he is so distant to me saying he is back in Ireland and crazy busy to catch up with people and family he haven't seen for a long time, and that he is on auto pilot - away from technology when I asuggested him to call me when he is ready to talk and open up himself to me to tell me what is really bothering him.

Reciprocal effort but early stages the man shoild put in more. A guy can tell if a woman is needy or devalues herself by her behavior. When ur with a man u should still maintain ur own interests goals, basically be the same as u were before u met them. If ur tired one night and dnt feel like repkyong to his text then dnt reply when u feel better put urself first n they will do thr same in return

I would not want to retract a man if he's pulling away in the first place.

This lady I don’t like how she is communicating, people want to get to the point, I feel she can coach good in the chakras .

But I have this icky feeling that he is still in Singapore. Because he used to send me his location wherever he is when we are together in SG, or video call me when we are not together. But now suddenly he doesn't seem not wanting to reply or trying to ignore my msgs and feel he is pulling away and so distant. Sad and painful as hell!! Thinking he is toying me.

i disagree with the advise to start with "self-love" when a guy pulls away from the female. This is often the cause of the problem. Most females do not put equal effort into a relationship, i think it's because females have the power in todays dating scene with all the social media and the abundance of thirsty men. Analyse your own role in the relationship as a female. What did you "bring to the table" into the relationship with him?

Our community is filled with women who "gave everything" to a man who pulled away and disappeared... the problem isn't what they're bringing to the table, it's being attached to men who don't really like them that much.
