(2) If I put the castings in my garden beds, won't there be eggs in the castings that will start raising in my garden beds?

    I have a set of sifters that I use and I still miss worms and cocoons. I use the castings to start my seeds. When I go to transfer them in the ground I always find worms. Horizontal migration works for the most part. I've watched videos of people using piles and lights to send the worms down. I like using a bait cup the most.

  • @Austin-ub2gi

    @Austin-ub2gi

    Жыл бұрын

    I like to get a long tray and put what I want to harvest in that, and put some fruit on one side to migrate them, then you can sift it, and let it sit for about a week or two to let the cocoons hatch which then you can migrate them one more time if you want, it's a lot of work but that Is the only assured way to do it as of now.

    I've had them do pretty good in the mortar trays. ANC's like to escape so the CFT bag systems are nice because they can't escape. A lid or bubble wrap helps keep them in.
