How to put on hair beads with a DIY Hair Beader

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

If you've ever felt the frustration of losing or breaking your hair beader, here's a quick solution: Grab a basic hair pin and weaving loop or rubber band. I also share my method for placing a bead at the end of each twist or braid using the "invisible foil" method. Background music courtesy of: www.bensound.com.

Girl this is super helpful. I couldn't find a hair beader anywhere and my 3 year old son said he wants "beads with braids" so I have been trying so hard to figure out how to get this done without a store bought beader lol. Thank you so much!

yes! and you know what else I JUST did... I couldn't find the soft weaving loop...so I just used a regular closed bobby pin, and placed them on their using that. you can only add a few at a time, but it got the job done. lol

This may be a silly question but I'm a little confused on what a nylon weaving loop is. An office rubber band seems like it would rough on the hair?

Aaron&Gaby Not a silly question at all. It is the soft bands used in weaving kits for children. They aren't as readily available as a rubber band though, that's why I suggested the band as an alternative. It wouldn't snag the hair as it's smooth and rubbery. I've tried both. You could also use a thin stretchy pony tail holder...

Thank you!! The rubber band worked surprisingly well. Now I just need to figure out how to tie the beads on :)

You really don't need all of that just put the foil on the hair and slide the beads on and then lock foil with a fold. But thank you
