Great video and I haven't done any beading since I was a child so I completely forgot how to do it now that I am a parent. I really like the thread method and would love to try that for my daughter.

Thank you so much! I didn’t know how to use the bead tool and this video was right on time! Halfway through my daughter’s hair the tool broke so I came back for the bobby pin method and was able to finish her hair with no problem. Thanks for providing so many options!

When you said the beads would go "bouncing onto the floor" i had a visceral response. That frustration is different thank you for these options, i had beaded about 200 beads onto my babies hair one by one 🤦🏾❤️

Great instructions! I do have a question when removing the rubber bands? Do you just snip them off and being careful not to cut the hair?

Thanks. Hold the rubber band, pull it away from the hair then cut it.

Unfortunately, they will. I suggest you use strong rubber bands to prevent that. There's a 'no-rubber-band' method. I will post a tutorial. Thank you for watching.

If you have weaving thread 🧵 you could try using that. Or, you could reverse-plait the end of the braids unto itself
