thanks for the vid, I was wondering what to do about my sacked-out '79 seats. Rebuilding them is prohibitively expensive right now. Those seats look the part, and with minimal mod. Awesome!

I have a power drivers seat from a trans am in my 81 and it fits fine but I not using the power seat functions so you’d have to check that.

I would imagine you'd only need to run 12 volts to the seat

Do you know what thread size the bolts that attach the tracks to the seats are? I’m gonna be doing 3/4 spacers and I want to order the right bolt lengths.

I don’t recall the actual thread size. I think I just took one of the shorter bolts in to my local hardy store and matched it up with longer ones.

@@The_604_Garage have you adapted the electric driver seat to a second gen before? Just got my Z28 seats for my 81 T/A and hoping to keep that feature if possible :)

@@odditeax I haven't adapted the power seat motors myself and not sure there is enough space to do so. Worth a test fit to see for sure.

Think i could do a chasis swap? 2nd gen onto a 4th gen
