Thanks for watching, everybody! To those of you asking in the comments - the words WHERE and WEAR have exactly the same pronunciation, which is why I didn't mention WEAR in the video. Stay safe x

Hi Elliott! Yes, all of your lessons are extremely useful and I would like to take the opportunity and thank you for helping us improving our English! I've found your channel only a few days ago and quickly got addicted to it. I'd also like to thank you for a live session you did about 3 years ago regarding 'procrastination' - that was absolutely brilliant and I think we all need a reminder on that subject from time to time! So yeah, keep up the good work and of course, stay safe!

Very helpful, thanks 😌 if you're ever struggling with the topic for a lesson, there's one thing I can't quite catch in British English pronunciation which is the kind of a 'softened' consonant before - o and - oo in words like 'going', 'look', 'good', maybe even in 'no' (compared with 'nut' for example). It seems different from the hard consonant in 'mood', 'gosh' etc. Or these are just personal variations 🤔 This sort of a question) thanks again
