It’s post script. It means to write after. Post = after, as in postnatal (after birth) Script = write So it’s the thing you write at the very end of a letter or an email. It was needed when things were hand written as there wouldn’t be room to put in additional sentences so you would put them at the end If you then want to add even more information you can actually use PPS which means the thing written after the PS And you could go on for ever, adding more and more Ps to the PS
