    i am on the way to perfect the British accent and it is always a conundrum, until I found this channel, I was so impressed of you narrating and articulating the nuance between sounds, and it's very subtly....yesterday my colleague asked me if I can tell her how to have an English accent and i was so shocked coz it was my first time to make me feel proud of my improvements.     As a native English speaker, it is interesting to find out why our pronunciation changes with the same spelling combinations. I dont remember even studying voiced and unvoiced sounds in school

    Because you didn't need to. It comes naturally to you. But people in the country, where I am now, say Link-ED IN for the job finders social network. Which sounds very funny. And you just know it's LINKT. They have to learn this.

    Yeah english can be really hard to pronounce. I'm a native speaker raised in the US so ive never had a problem with it either but even I'm confused as to why that's the case. And stuff like "their" or "raspberry" theres so many confusing pronunciations and spellings. I give mad props to people learning english

    One thing I noticed is that my whole life I've been pronouncing beloved as Be-Loved. And the right pronunciation is be-love-Ed. Wow😲

    I'm from venezuela and I like lesten to her. I had never heard to someone explain english like her, I understand a lot of English with her, so she speaks only English and does not explain in Spanish 👏👏👏
