i am on the way to perfect the British accent and it is always a conundrum, until I found this channel, I was so impressed of you narrating and articulating the nuance between sounds, and it's very subtly....yesterday my colleague asked me if I can tell her how to have an English accent and i was so shocked coz it was my first time to make me feel proud of my improvements. And so on, thanks to your videos, now I discovered tons of brand new pages to kick off the master of RP as well.
The activity was exciting and now I can say that I've learned something from it thank you Lucy 😊
Such a lovely phrase : "Home is not a place, it's a person".
As a native English speaker, it is interesting to find out why our pronunciation changes with the same spelling combinations. I dont remember even studying voiced and unvoiced sounds in school

Yeah english can be really hard to pronounce. I'm a native speaker raised in the US so ive never had a problem with it either but even I'm confused as to why that's the case. And stuff like "their" or "raspberry" theres so many confusing pronunciations and spellings. I give mad props to people learning english

Excelente explicación de palabras en pasado, me ayuda a mejorar mi inglés, te adoro! Recomiendo a las personas leer libros en inglés en voz ligeramente en alto para apoyar la práctica al hablar. Gracias Lucy!
Thank you! Very clear explanation. Your lesson helped me clear my doubts about the pronunciations of 'ed' sounds in different situations that I would like to know for a long time.
Your story is beautiful. I learned a great deal in your lesson today. I've watched it twice and I intend to re-watch it many times just so the contents get a chance to sink in. Thank you, Lucy. Some teachers do not pronounce the word 'pronunciation' properly. This was the word that helped me decide you would make a good teacher. You are. Wishing you and your loved ones all the best during this virus season. From beautiful springtime Melbourne Down Under.
