excellent
Thankyou so much
I'm German and we never really use the v sound as English poeple do. If we say v, it always sounds like w. 😅

It's the opposite, actually... At least if you're not speaking heavy dialect. Try saying "Wasser". In High German, it is spoken with [v] like in the english word "valley". You don't say "Uwasser", do you? Because that's the sound that [w] makes. Btw, I am a native German who's studying English at university

@@timb.3171 Das stimmt, aber irgendwie ist das v bei _Wasser_ trotzdem anders als das v in der englischen Sprachen 🤔. Im Englischen ist es mehr betont... 😆.
Finally 😊
👍🏻👍🏻
Can you make a video about the R pronounciation?
Hi, I'm struggling with the R and W sounds. Sometimes, when I'm talking, when I'm saying "Look at the right side", people are understanding "Look and the white side"

Same in Turkish, I can hear a very little difference but those both would sound as some variation of V in our languages among many other similar possible miniscule variations. I think English differentiates these minor sounds so they look vastly different.

@@case6339 We are Eastern Europians, hungarians have slav DNA even if they like it or not and we have a big great Turkish heritage especially In Budapest like spas, buildings, words etc..A lot of Hungarians also have a little western asian DNA ( I have as well check my videos on YT) so maybe it can be a reason why we are not so good at pronuancing V and W LoL

With the word “womb” I guess one has to pronounce /w/ with even closer lips or it will sound /u:m/
I sure know now how to pronounce " w" thank you.
Hi, do you know any English variety (globally) where the letter v is ever pronounced as /w/ (as in "wind")?
,,Ł" ,,W"
