How to Pronounce and Use "Literally" - British English

Join my British Pronunciation Course: www.etjenglish.com
Learn how to pronounce and use the word literally like a native British English speaker. These tips are related to modern English. Remember, it's informal to use "literally" in the non-literal sense mentioned in the lesson, so use it at your own risk!
Remember, you don't NEED an RP British accent to speak English well (or even an English accent at all!)... There are loads of accents out there! I'm just here to help people who have a love for modern versions of RP and want to speak it clearly.

"Literally or not literally" that is the question. Sometimes to literally say what you think is literally not the best thing to do but I literally don't resist to tell what I literally think. 😂😂😂😂Stay safe, dear Elliott 🇮🇹🍀🇬🇧

As always, I literally enjoyed your "lesson". As an American copy editor and English instructor, I teach that "figuratively" is the better choice when exaggeration is meant, and "literally" when speaking the plain truth. I may be old fashioned, and I know that language is always evolving. But my vote is for more use of "figuratively" and less of "literally", at least here in the USA. What do you think?
