Gotta say man I've been trying to program my new key for about 2 weeks trying everything and I was about to give up and go to the dealer when I came across this video and instantly it worked you are a life saver

I have a 2014 Chevy traverse. I had lost the keys a year ago so I had a locksmith make me one from scratch. Yesterday I broke the key. But I had already found the original I had lost , I tried it. It turned the ignition but wouldn’t start the engine. I followed this process and i can’t believe it but it worked!!! Thank you fine Sir!

This actually worked! I am so happy! I only had a key to unlock my 2015 traverse. I was pretty sure the 10 min 45 sec trick would not work. I was wrong!! Thank you SO MUCH!

OMG THANK YU SOOOOOOO MUCH. MY CAR KEY GOT FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET !!! Just so happened I had an already cut key from a previous time i "lost" my key & had to have a new one made . Anyway I put it up jus for the memory of the incident && came bacc across it at a VERY convenient time . So I googled this video & tried the second way you mentioned with NO programmed key && it WORKED ! That saved me the fee of getting a key made and towing fees !!!! Thank you SOOOOO much !!!

Worked on my 2009 Chevy traverse I didn’t have a key just went to the dealership got a key cut. After turning it off the third time and tried to start it didn’t start but I turned the car off removed the key and immediately put it back in and the vehicle started. Yay thank you!!

Hot shit!!!! This really worked!!!! I had to go to the dealer to get it cut. You had to buy the Home Depot key for $40.

Hi I have GMC Acadia 2010. I have the original key and I bought a programable key from Ebay and had it cut from a local lock smith but i cant program it following the above procedure. As one I put the duplicate key in the iginition i got a message theft attemt service theft control system

Did your key have the + sign on it? If not it will not work to program, it has no transponder in it.

What if I accidentally locked the ignition by using the wrong key? I can't program one because I can't turn the ignition on
