Perfect. No extraneous discussions, no annoying music; just helpful and straightforward instruction. Thank You!
This was ABSOLUTELY perfect. Could not have asked for a better demo to get around reading and understanding the info on the tiny sheet the manufacturer supplied in 3 distracting languages! Great job!
You are a very good tutor. We have these switches in our bathrooms at our church and I needed to set one for a longer duration. There is a lot of information out there, but your video was forthright and easy to follow. Thank you and God bless.
You explained this easily better than the company did. Thank you!

Awesome video! Thank you for not taking 30 min to explain 2 minute process! I wish there were more videos like yours!! Big like
THANK YOU - I was ready to return the unit - until I saw this video - The instructions make sense now, only because I know how to do it - Company instructions were not clear. WELL DONE
Nicely explained, works like a charm. You turned calculus into arithmetic. Your our light switch hero!!! Thanks again.
This just showed me everything I needed to know about the switch I just installed.
Thank you so much. Tell Lutron to pay you a customer service fee because your better than their paperwork!
Thanks for making the video simple and to the point. Easy to understand. I purchased three of these from Amazon and all are working great so far.

Thanks Edward, this unit still works great.
You have no idea how many times I've referred to this video to help myself and others. Thank you
This is wonderful. The included instructions were obtuse and had me type in a long URL to a PDF that didn't even try to explain this. Thank you!
Very clear and simple. And to the point. No history of why you bought the thing. Thanks a bunch...
Just installed the Luvitron Maestro Occupancy Sensing switch and couldn't get the sensor aspect to function after nearly an hour of tinkering. Watched this video and within 5 secs of following the instructions, viola! Issues resolved.... and thank you very much for the no nonsense, no added dialogue, jump right to the issue explanation!
Thank you! This was a great tutorial!
Much more clear than the Lutron instructions, thank you! I also agree with the commenter who said that stating how mny blinks needed, before demonstrating, would be helpful.🌻
Braaaavo.....thank you for your excellent explanation, well done! ..Lost the directions but saved by your video...
This is the code breaker for the cryptic instructions from the manufacturer. 👍🏼👍🏼
Very useful information about this sensor switch, which I did NOT the third feature. Thank you
Very good explanation, simple and to the point. Thanks!
Great job, thanks so much, way better than the instructions that came with the switch. My contractor had it set to auto on when you entered the room, and I didn't care for that feature, really wanted to auto off and dim functions
Thank you for your excellent video. The printed material with the switch was confusing. You made it clear.
Outstanding clarity. Thank you!
Great video. Very clear instructions. Thank you.

THANK YOU, min stopped working and it was the little tab on the side i needed to switch.
Thank you
Thanks!!
Thank the L*rd you made this video... After your first explanation for adjusting "timeout", it all made sense for the following two adjustable items. It's simple once you see someone else doing it. I'm guessing that the company's technical illustrators and authors don't give this to 'people on the street' (so to speak) to then install and/or configure. It would tell them just what they need to know in cranking out a decent and more understandable document.
Thanks bro

Thank you! My electrician installed this during our bathroom remodel and said vacancy mode and low sensitivity was the only mode. Time to find a less lazy electrician....

New switches just came out last year will not program vacancy or occupancy mode. Only time delay available to program. I wounded if Lutsik changed it recently or it’s only me having this issue. I purchased about 10 in the last month.
Thanks but I wish you could cover the DAYLIGHT Sensing as well as that's my confusion and I need that.
FWIW - I set mine up for auto on auto off It has a 5 minute timeout for the off when I leave the room
Great demo. How do i turn down the sensitivity.
MVP!!
Great instructions! I have had mine installed for a couple years setup with this video. Now this is in a bathroom that the door is always closed,lately I have noticed the light coming from the bottom of the door when nobody has been in there any ideas to solve this?
Good afternoon, I have this switch by my stairs so I have a 3 way. Would I not be able to use the occupancy feature then
Trying to turn this damn thing off at work but I gotta take the beauty plate off.
Is there a way to set the switch to turn out when you go in a room, but to turn off as soon as it doesn’t detect you in that room (maybe 5-10 seconds, not wait one minute) ? I find the one minute timeout period long
Thank You lost my instructions and have been trying to figure it out.
any reason why the tab on the side wont make a flash i tried on a few of them.too
@rachelaldred4140

Mine does the same - no flashing light when holding the side tab. Did you figure out why?
@SE-zt7il

teddy salazar it’s because u don’t have the occupancy model. There is a “o” and a “v” model. Both look the same.

@@SE-zt7il What is the tab for then for the non vacancy models?
Hello! Is there any way to turn daylight-sensing off while keeping the Auto-on on? My light works perfectly except for it is constantly turning on because I guess it senses there is not enough daylight.... which I don't really understand anyway. I only want it to go on when it detects motion, not any other time.
Is any one experiencing on new Lurton switches absence of occupancy/ vacancy programming mode? I have old switch that I got early 2020 and it works alright with small push button to Programm mode. But new switches I purchased in December 2020 will not correspond to small push button. Nothing simply happens when hold pressed for over a minute. Did anyone find solution to this?
Great tutorial! I wish there was a way to extend the time before motion is detected after shutting the light off manually. Situation - in a garage. Shutting the light off manually. Getting into car and about to drive off and the lights come back on. The led shop lights are interfering with the garage door remote. Grrrr
What if you want to deactivate the sensor all together so the light only goes off if I touch the switch as a regular switch would work ??
Hi just double check when I want to do motion sensitive low ... have I leave light on or off ? And second question have I press button same time or ? Thank u
@DavidRomigJr
5 жыл бұрын
It does not matter if the light is on or off when changing settings. When changing the sensitivity, you push and hold the power and auxiliary buttons at the same time. It’s okay to push and hold one, then push and hold the second so long as you do it before the sensor flashes (about 2 seconds) otherwise you’ll be setting the timeout or the mode instead.
When in occupancy mode, if I manually turn the light on, will that keep it on indefinitely? Or is there any way to force the light to stay on? Otherwise if I'm working on underneath my car on a creeper and the lights go off, this thing is unusable.

No, unfortunately it does not. And there's no override functionality either. It's surprisingly sensitive when something first comes into its field of view, but for some reason, you can be moving around near it and it will still shut itself off. It's infuriating when trying to work in your garage for a couple hours. I ended up wiring in a regular switch, replacing the LED shop lights with outlets (replacement lights are wired with plugs and are linkable, only one outlet needed) and installing Koda linkable shop lights from Costco. WAY more functionality via a remote control and you can use a single remote on as many lights as you want to install. Pushing one button on the remote and the lights will stay on indefinitely, and then pushing one button sends them back into 30 second auto on, auto off mode. Great product.
Hi Michael. You must have a GROUND wire connected. For me it meant I had to drill a tiny hole inside my electrical box, twist the green and solid wires together and then use a sheet metal screw to terminate the 2 wires inside the box. The switch will NOT work otherwise. Its a pain, but that is a fact. Best Wishes with that.
@thenor3928

E J Howard. will try that cause I don't have a ground wire and it won't blink at all
Is there any way to selectively override the auto-off? Most of the time I want it to operate in occupancy mode, but there are occasions when I want it to just stay on for a long time. I read on a message board that some other motion sensing products can be overidden by turning them off and on quickly. But I just tried it on this one and it didn't work; which is to say the light still went off when there was no motion. Any tips?
Stupid question but what cover plate to use? It didn't come with one.
Is their a way to just make it like a regular light switch? like manual on, manual off?
