    Thank the L*rd you made this video... After your first explanation for adjusting "timeout", it all made sense for the following two adjustable items. It's simple once you see someone else doing it. I'm guessing that the company's technical illustrators and authors don't give this to 'people on the street' (so to speak) to then install and/or configure. It would tell them just what they need to know in cranking out a decent and more understandable document.

    Hello! Is there any way to turn daylight-sensing off while keeping the Auto-on on? My light works perfectly except for it is constantly turning on because I guess it senses there is not enough daylight.... which I don't really understand anyway. I only want it to go on when it detects motion, not any other time.

    Is any one experiencing on new Lurton switches absence of occupancy/ vacancy programming mode? I have old switch that I got early 2020 and it works alright with small push button to Programm mode. But new switches I purchased in December 2020 will not correspond to small push button. Nothing simply happens when hold pressed for over a minute. Did anyone find solution to this?

    It does not matter if the light is on or off when changing settings. When changing the sensitivity, you push and hold the power and auxiliary buttons at the same time. It’s okay to push and hold one, then push and hold the second so long as you do it before the sensor flashes (about 2 seconds) otherwise you’ll be setting the timeout or the mode instead.

    When in occupancy mode, if I manually turn the light on, will that keep it on indefinitely? Or is there any way to force the light to stay on? Otherwise if I'm working on underneath my car on a creeper and the lights go off, this thing is unusable.

  • @thatguythatdoesstuff7448

    @thatguythatdoesstuff7448

    No, unfortunately it does not. And there's no override functionality either. It's surprisingly sensitive when something first comes into its field of view, but for some reason, you can be moving around near it and it will still shut itself off. It's infuriating when trying to work in your garage for a couple hours. I ended up wiring in a regular switch, replacing the LED shop lights with outlets (replacement lights are wired with plugs and are linkable, only one outlet needed) and installing Koda linkable shop lights from Costco. WAY more functionality via a remote control and you can use a single remote on as many lights as you want to install. Pushing one button on the remote and the lights will stay on indefinitely, and then pushing one button sends them back into 30 second auto on, auto off mode. Great product.

  • @nonamejustinitials

    Hi Michael. You must have a GROUND wire connected. For me it meant I had to drill a tiny hole inside my electrical box, twist the green and solid wires together and then use a sheet metal screw to terminate the 2 wires inside the box. The switch will NOT work otherwise. Its a pain, but that is a fact. Best Wishes with that.

    Is there any way to selectively override the auto-off? Most of the time I want it to operate in occupancy mode, but there are occasions when I want it to just stay on for a long time. I read on a message board that some other motion sensing products can be overidden by turning them off and on quickly. But I just tried it on this one and it didn't work; which is to say the light still went off when there was no motion. Any tips?
