Man I can’t thank you enough!!! I was going crazy trying to figure out why my car wasn’t detecting my key fob. I replaced the battery and that didn’t fix the problem. So a guy recommended that I reprogram the remote key. I bought a new one and tried to reprogram both remotes using your video and it worked for the new key and not the old one. So it was a problem with my old key fob all along. And your video 100% helped solve my problem. Now I don’t have to manually unlock and start my car any more. Thanks a million!

Great video, but what I learned was, I had bought spare keys before and my 2015 Impala knew that. When I went into program mode the car said key number 4 ready. So I programmed 2 new key fobs in 3 mins. I didn't have to wait the 10 mins between programming because the car had made keys for me in the past.

Great video, did mine yesterday and some of the features worked,remote start,lock unlock from new remote worked,car would only start with new fob in console fob holder and the keyless lock/unlock from door handle not working,gonna try programming again,nevermore good job👍

Check if the key you bought have proximity sensor. If it doesn't then that is the incorrect key. That one is for vehicles without push start

This was very helpful. I noticed doing my 219 if you all the fobs present you can skip the timer segments and go right to the next fob to be programmed. Under 2 mins.

Best to leave it open for easier access to the inside of the car, and no don't press the brake. Just press the button

My key works but my buttons don’t

Does this written for vehicles without the push button start?

i did everything and after “ready for remote one” when i took out the key the unlock button didn’t work so you think maybe the battery is dead i used it all the time but i always have to put it in the middle console

After turning the key 5 times to get it into program mode did you take it out of the door right away or leave it in?

I brought two key fobs from Amazon but they didn't hv proximity. Found this out after I used your video. Everything works but I can't turn on without key being in the transmitter.

Since it was amazon you can always return it and get the ones with proximity.

So everything worked even auto start but in order for the car to crank all the way it has to be in the tramsmitter any suggestions?

I get to the 2nd remote and when I hit the unlock button it won't do anything.

This method will erase the original fob so you will have to program both as stated in the video.

@@AS-pr4ww Mine doesn't go into learning mode. It just says the key fob Numbers then programs a new one after I push the start button. Maybe I have to reach the maximum fobs first. On a 2014 impala ltz that conforms to regulations: 2015 FFV.

Hi I don't see the link for the key fob with the proximity.

Did this in under 10 minutes on a 2019 impala. Held the brake down , then pushed the start button 5 times. It said ready for remote 1 then I did the second one. After that I held the start button for 12 seconds then it started with the new key

How did you hold down the brake and hit the start button 5 time. The vehicle starts and turn off, start turn off and repeat. Did you miss a step?
