My 2016 screen went black ORR charge 700.00 for a replacement I see why

Well this drained any DIY motivation in me, to the shop my car goes!

Hi Thank you for this video .. Is it basicaly the same prosess to get the guage cluster out ? or would that be a bit diferent ? i cant seem to find much information on replacing the guages for this car. any help would be greatly appreciated . thanks.

Hwy I have a 2016 impala and want to change my dash from the pnut butter to black because there's a slight glare in the day time and its annoying. Is that changeable?

Do u guys know if its possible pull apart the radio system and replace the LCD SCREEN and put it back together ? Would really appreciate an answer

Is there RC Jack's in the back of the radio ?

Well, at least it won't be so easy to steal it from my car, good job on that GM

If I remove the dashboards of some places, then put it back, will it create noises in the future ?

It is simple but wow. It was so much easier on my 06 impala :(!!!!!

I looking into taking this out as well to replace with a big 12.8 display like a Tesla. BUT I want to keep the buttons so ill still have the compartment behind it.

I’ve always installed my own stereo and subs in all my other vehicles but I’m scared to touch her😂😂😂 2015 with only 15 k miles never use it. But thanks for video now I can try without much worry. I just need to run wires tho not remove screen.

Two questions: 1. What position are you putting the gear selector in to remove the boot? 2. What size socket are you using to remove the fasteners?

as far as the shift goes, looks like he went all the way to M, then moved it to D, and then removed the head at N

DAMN all that for the stereo! Smh.

My screen went out. Now I see why the dealer wants 900.00 to replace it!!! I’ll have to record myself doing this just to remember how I took it all out 😩😩😩. But at least it didn’t look like to to many screws!!!

Ur screen went to mines is out the dealer changed the amp that didn’t work they said it’s the screen wen they changed ur screen out did everything work after that

Destroying the dash. Too much work. Just leave car as is or get another type to better suit your needs. Thought you were removing the screen.....smh. Car will rattle
