Aah ..the art of taking stuff apart. Im pretty good at that. Its putting the shit back together. Now that is another story. Just do everything in reverse sound easier said than done.. Thank God for duck tape.. lol.

I've had an aftermarket head unit installed in my 2014 impala ls. Now I've been having trouble with my battery been drained. Also, my odometer and tachometer needle be move after I switch the car off for like 15 seconds. Do you have any idea what that could be.

How are you doing? I have the same car and I recently had an aftermarket radio installed. Now I'm having problems with my battery dying on me. What could it be.

Didn't know the base model came with such a basic radio.

Man that is pretty messed up design from GM. It must be like pop off and pop back in just like Dodge Charger and challenger models. Nevertheless i admire your work on working such a stubborn Radio Separation part. I have Impala 2015 LS and was thinking to switch the Radio with After Market Custom 8 inch Android Tablet Can you put another video about how to fix Ipad Mini or any andriod tablet in that Radio Cavity ? Its a Nice Car anyway i enjoy the power of impala v6

Yeah well I'ma try to do temporarily is Rca out the back of my factory stereo so I'll have to cut and spliced wires I'll get to it one day I hope, I'm sure they don't have a stereo installation kit or harness yet.

What is that one plastic strip that hangs out after you take the first piece off? I was wondering if that's the part that lights up at night?

Yeah I actually broke one of my non led factory bezels on bottom of bumper so I want to replace both of them with LED got to get ahold of a dealership to get them ordered then I'll see about the install

I have a 2015 Impala ls and I removed my dash and wired my amp to the factory radio, but when I went to test it to see if I had sound the radio wouldn't turn on and my dash gauges won't work and is giving me airbag, theft deterrent system and tpms system messages. The amp has power and so does my 12v up front where we wired the rem to. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm sure they're six and a half inches but have you ever noticed the front door are more mid bass speakers and your treble and voice coming from the top speakers on your dash and ur read door..

Do you know if I bought the full mylink touch screen from the junk yard, would it work in my impala with the same Radio that you have in video?

Sysco Torres i didnt buy the unit i was kinda scared to after i asked my dealer could they flash it if i were to.buy one from junkyard or online and half said no and the rest didnt know...if.u got yours to work please let me know and or post a video plz.... thanks so much i really want the mylink touch screen

Well I got mine off eBay.. Supposely was a working unit but once I installed it everything worked fine except the LCD display.. I had sound and could change the inputs but could not get it to display anything. Not sure if it had to be flashed or it was a bad LCD screen. I decide to return the unit for a full refund.

Sorry man. I did not bother taking it to the dealer since I think it had a bad LCD screen but could be wrong. It might of just need to be flash it just a chance I would have to take. I took pictures and a video of the unit working/ at least the audio but nothing more. Hope someone else can give us the answers we are looking for.it will be a nice upgrade

hey I have a 2015 chevy impala that the my link screen goes up and and is black no sound or no instrument fuctioning all gauges fuel speedometer heat and oil are all not fuctioning but when I start the car the check engine light comes on and goes off ss it's supposed to. anyone know what can be wrong with this car?

update on my car thanks anyway but for those that don't know if you have this problem like I posted earlier the car needed to be flashed and then once it's was flashed it the dash came back on fine and no further problems thus far.

Danm :-( so there is really no reason to take the dash out and buy a radio until somebody comes out with a dash kit because the metal plate that the radio is connected to/skrewed to has no pass through. Plus the kit will have to utilize the space where the volume knob and cd player is. Thanks curly.

Chevy has the most complex componets to replace ever!!! Your practically ripping half your car apart just to replace or upgrade omg I'll never buy ANYTHING chevy again! Thier engineers needs to be tied up and slapped the hell outta them! Just keep it simple like other cars out there WTF!! Man!
