How to Print, Mount and Frame your Photographs on a Budget.
Have you ever wanted to print your photography but are not quite sure where to start or how to go about it? During this video I turn second hand frames into Landscape Photography masterpieces! If you are on a budget or want to give the frames your own personal touch then here is the guide for you. I have always wanted to get my work framed and I am very grateful to The Glade tea rooms in Wentwood, Wales for hosting my images. I have my next video also in the process of being created where I explore a beautiful Welsh costal town. Stay tuned for the next and enjoy this how to guide with a hint of relaxation. I also hope this inspires you to print your work too.

Yes, good spot. I find a clear space means a clear head for creating 🙏
Your work is beautiful and these ideas are great especially for those odd sized frames. I have a box of some of the ugliest frames in existence (thanks Mom!). Thanks!

Oh that's so kind of to say! I hope you manage to put them to use. Always good to reuse frames and save some money too. I have picked up several more which I think I might paint as they need a lot of TLC
Nice job with the prints and old frames. Glad to see you back and hoping you and baby stay healthy.

Thank you!
Great video, thank you. I have way too many images stored on my external hard drive that have never been printed. It is quite a shame that I’ve been shooting for YEARS and have only printed a handful of images, none of which I have in frames or on walls. I’d really, really love to change that. When I can afford it, I will definitely print some images and frame them. I love thrift shopping! 😊 Congratulations on being with child, that is so exciting, I am a mum of 4. 🎉

Thanks for the positive comment, I think a lot of people will relate to you. Yes you can definitely do it on a budget, the frames I bought cost me £10 for seven and the mounting was super cheap too. If you wanted to save even more money you can do photographic prints rather than fine art prints. The images in this photo are photo prints on Luster which is their cheapest option and I was super surprised by the colour and quality. Thank you so much! Oh wow you must have your hands full with 4. Looking forward to meeting little one and making him part of my passion 📸
First off, Congratulations on everything, it is so good to see you and see that you are starting new chapters in your life. You look radiant as always, even more so now. I am personally embarking on a project of adding to my digital library by scanning my first two decades of photography pre-digital era. Since I don't have a darkroom anymore, scanning my negatives will not only allow me to digitally print them but also preserve them. I am now inspired by your DIY demonstration of mounting and framing, something I will follow up on myself now, thank you.

Thank you for the kind words and I am so glad to hear it has inspired you to frame them too. Your project sounds like a rewarding mission and I am sure going backwards you will rediscover images you might not have looked twice at before. All the best with the digital library creation, hope it goes well.
Best of luck with all your future endeavors, and your motherhood adventure. 🍀🍀🍀

I'm glad, thank you! Yes making the most of it. Oh I can imagine you know having three! Hoping to incorporate little one into the adventures. Thanks for following, have another video lined up so won't be long for the next 👍
Its great to see a photos actaully printed & framed. For myself im always confused with the type of paper to use or select if some online service is used. Would be great for you to explain the type of print paper & when to use different types depending on the actaul photo or look to show the photo best. The prints are expensive so would not like to make too many mistakes with the wrong paper or finish.

Yes I agree, it's an important final step of the process and will definitely do more. Yes I shall, If I do a future video regarding printing my work I shall go into a little more depth. If you print through a well known printers, then you can request a sample paper book. I have a small sample book from Loxley colour and you can feel the paper and see the difference in colours. You might want to print one type of image with a watercolour feel on a rougher textured paper to give you that water colour painting look but with a forest scene it could be different. Hope that helps! All the best with printing
👍📷😎
I guess your new hairstyle is being inspired by StarTrek : Strange New Worlds' Actor Jess Bush. Nice framing. stay safe & sound.

Oh thank you so much! More to come soon 💕 Thanks for watching too ☺️🙏
All too many images scattered on external HDD's, cards, USB sticks and some that I've already printed but haven't mounted yet!! And, just recently, a good friend of mine sent me some images she took at a car show. They were really great, so I printed off a few of them that I will be mounting in frames shortly😊😊 You should also look into making your own frames, it's not that hard to do, so long as you have the necessary equipment. You can buy the moldings at any art n craft shop. Or, if you're good at woodwork (or know anyone who is) you can make your own.

I can totally relate, I think moving house and having the space to fill has helped. It's been on my to do list for years and all the while the images have grown in number. That's a good shout ref framing, as getting things done at a framers is very costly. Cheers for watching and supporting 👍
great idea, it frame the prints.. well done.. get yourself a mount cutter safer and cleaner..
