I can't believe this is all the comments you got. That was an excellent explanation to tweaking out the little misses that we often discover later in a song.Very well done sir.I always miss something when i play and i have been playing for ever.Thank you

Great lesson and I watched it a few times. Travis picking is what a lot of professional guitarists use. I play around with it sometimes but I've never gigged anywhere with it because it requires too much brain power, although a few pints of beer has been known to change my mind...😂

I love Paul Simon's songs. This song from Ralph McTell would also be a great song with a great message, which deserves a great tutorial - "Streets of London". I'm sure you know it well. kzread.info/dash/bejne/naaNltVqipash9I.html

Thankyou, great lesson. I learn most by listening for the string being played, and by tab. A lot of yt teachers talk right over the lesson or worse sing ! Or worse sing loud ! Or worse sing very loud out of key.. Two years into my fingerpicking adventure, making some progress at 54. 😊

Great video brother. Keep it up! I'm sure you know that your voice is like any other instrument or any other muscle: the more you use it the better you'll be. The older you get the harder it will be so start now. Just like guitar, vocals are 15% talent and 85% effort.

The G7 should be played not string 1 but with the finger on the fourth string third fret.

Hi! Thanks for the comment - you're right Paul Simon usually plays it at the fourth string third fret. I use that voicing to connect verses together, so thought I'd suggest an alternate one to use during the verse. I think people should feel free to pick and choose when they use which fingering

The strings in your peg box are overlapping, not good. This will affect if you strings stay in tune.
