So excited for this game, I just got the 2 player starter set yesterday. I just got into Star Wars Destiny when it got canceled, so it'll be nice to play a SW TCG from launch.

Just picked up mine.

It's been several years now, but still feel pretty salty towards FFG and how they ended Star Wars: The Card Game LCG so suddenly. Going to try this one because it does look fun. Thanks for all the Star Wars content Crabbok.

I miss the lcg. I still have the complete collection and try and play when possible

If I have a base with blue aspect, while no blue aspect for the hero. Then when I play a card which required two blue aspect, do I need to pay extra resources?

Clarification of a rule I’m not sure on. If I pass and my opponent doesn’t pass or take initiative right after I can still play right? As in passing isn’t ending your turn unless opponent passes also right?

I was super confused first watch thought you only got one action per round. But makes more sense you get more than one. Not use to rounds magic and others I played not really rounds of back and forth.

I need this answer please My friend was running vader and he was behind troopers, my friend said that the troopers gave vader cover is that true? New to game don't know all the rules

Nope - normal troopers certainly don't.

LoL reading the comments and see there is a lot of excitement for this game. I quit magic the gathering because of the cost. I see the same here.

I am not sure if I want to start to play this game. I played X-Wing from first edition & lately haven’t found the time to play X-Wing 2.5

I don’t know about this game. I feel burned from FFG canceling Star Wars Destiny. That was my favorite card game ever. Played it a ton with my nephew.

the artwork of swccg can’t be matched but I’m gonna try this game out since it seems more universal and easier to get into.

I have not had a good experience with this game. I've tried many different types of decks, different versions of those decks, and played dozens of games and I've come away with the feeling that this game is simplistic and unoriginal. It's mishmash of things from other card games, but ports over none of the nuance or strategy from those games. It's just about who gets the biggest pieces on the board first and once one player does, the game is over almost immediately. Matches are too fast, too frantic, and feel like you're just beating each other with the biggest stick possible. Every time I tied to develop strategy, the match still came down to who had the bigger unit. I'm baffled that this is the game Fantasy Flight is putting this big push behind. It's hard to see it catching on once the initial hype is over. I guess we'll see, but it just wasn't for me.

I’m glad I just play the real Star Wars ccg made by decipher. This game looks like kiddie garbage when compared to the old decipher game. The force pile design of the original game was genius and is still unsurpassed in every Star Wars card game since then.
