@@ChosenOne-il4bm Personally I don't care if it beats MtG or Yugioh. There's plenty of good games that don't have the mass appeal of MtG or YGO. If this game gives me good competitive games, good community interaction, good star wars memories... I'll be satisfied. That's what Star Wars Destiny did for me, and that's all I am hoping for here.

This game seems really cool. Only thing that seems weird is the resource system, it seems as if the game just goes on and on until you have enough to do whatever you want . I’m hoping they’ll be ways to disrupt resources ect…in the ffg chat on there channel about this game they said games take about 20 minutes but so far from what I’ve seen it’s at least double that, which makes me think either they balanced the starter decks really well or the rest of the first set will be cards with much more powerful effects.

Part of that is definitely due to the underpowered demo decks. Also lots of talking between turns and whatnot. We’re gonna post some TTS content soon and the first vid going up is around 17 min 👍

What does the "Force choke" rule mean?

How man yindividual cards are there now? There are so many amazing characters, creatures, locations, icons, and events in Star Wars. There should be a ton of content.

very good game although some mistakes were made like activating luke's ability on non-heroic units, or when your opponent didn't draw the card with force choke but other than that excellent video thanks.

This game is so much fun. Been playing in on felt table, can't wait for the physical cards to come out.

Thank you for sharing your game guys. I played my first game today and we got so many things wrong. Now everything clearer.

Excited to try this out, but I'd really just rather have Star Wars LCG back. That game was legitimately amazing, and it looked a lot better too. =(

I really like the flow, it's like they're fighting simultaneously but it's turn based.... but... it's not...

This is a card game I want to play. Now I notice from this game that 30 health is way to high or not enough cards in the library to end game. Hope the game is more polish when released

These are demo decks, they're definitely underpowered and if I'm not mistaken, the demo decks have 30 cards instead of the 50 cards as per the quickstart rules.

Since this video they revealed a base with under 30 health that has powers so we may be seeing top tier decks with 25 or less health

I was thinking of getting into Flesh and Blood, but for a variety of reasons I decided against it. This game looks like it may scratch some of that itch. I wonder if they'll ever add some kind of "Go again" type mechanic.

I imagine a "go Again" mechanic would instantly break this game in half. Alternating action economies live and die by the give and take between players. This is why so much of the skill of this game will revolve around when to take initiative.

I think for right now "Ambush" is the closest to "Go Again" mechanic. A unit can enter play in its arena, ready and attack a unit in that arena. That's still pretty spicy in this game. The spoiled unit Han Solo is really awesome because he has Ambush AND he deals combat damage before the defender, so he can sneak away with a quick kill.

not a fan of the resource system but if this what it takes to get some destiny vibes i can deal with it.

They’ll drop it eventually like they’ve done with nearly every other game. I’ve spent enough over the years on LCG’s I’m not buying anymore. I’d rather spend my money on other games.

Yea Destiny should have just stuck around. Much better and more unique style gameplay and better art

Awesome? What’s here that they haven’t done before? This just looks like mechanics from all their other LCG’s nothing groundbreaking. I’ll be giving this a miss.

Complicated & it’s FF … so they will abandon this game just like all their other SW games

@@LiterallyUnplayable Every FF game has been described as you have , but most of them fail . People can’t afford Magic & another ridiculous ccg/tcg. Lorcana & SW Unlimited are cool & fun , but will soon both be in the dust bin . Magic was & is the only real game in town . Ive been playing tabletop miniature games at game stores for over 35 years . 95% of card players are MTG & and few playing Pokemon or Yugi oh . Ive watched hordes of players jump on new ccg with great fervor & they all claim Magic will be toppled by x , y or z new card game . Guess what , that never happens & within weeks to a few months everyone abandons the new ccg . Then they all return to MTG . I give SW Unlimited until fall & it will already be reduced to just a handful of goons playing it . FF will abandon SW Unlimited within 18 -24 months tops . Save your money & invest in the market. Play D&D , MTG or GW games , because they will always be players & new content being made .

6 months and i was not even aware of the existence of this game - that shows how bad SW brand is damaged, in the past i was aware of every new relevant product regarding SW IP. But im not missing out on anything. I stopped liking this format of collectible card games where there is an artificial generation of rarity - i have several kilograms of useless magic cards because of this system. Living Card Game system was much better - i never played that card game besides the demo, but i have the entire collection of the cards because it was easy to pay 12eur to get all the new cards for the game. This game dose not really capture the essence of SW, its basically combination of the older TCG from Wizards with MTG. The best SW card game ever which totally captured SW look and feel was SW CCG from Decipher - you controlled the force, you walked / flied through the galaxy, controlled the locations/planets. There were several thematic decks from smuggling runs to planet destructions (i have to build a deck which would have goal to destroy as many planets as possible during the game, not win the game)

We'd still recommend giving it a try, it's a very fun game!

Nothing beats the decipher game, these cards look like cartoon vomit. The old decipher cards were bad ass and the force pile design was genius.

8:24 yes but you put the damage counters to the hero , its a missplay
