Another great video Davvy. Your charisma really helps get the lesson across to the listener. And I like how, while still accurate, the lessons are geared more towards showing you how to improvise within the song.

I know you kinda have to blend Jerry's and Bobby's parts, but some of what you are playing is not what I hear and gravitate to. Prime example is the "riff" in the verse. You play the 2 chords, which sound great, and then the riff- which just doesn't sound right to me. I'm not saying it's wrong. I've just been hearing what my ear has picked out for so long it sounds wrong to me. I noticed it in the Fire On the Mountain video (and commented about it there, too). But I'm really liking the videos. I'm a bass player by trade, and I've been to a ton of shows, but for whatever reason, I never bothered to learn any of the Dead's songs. Liked and subbed.

love your lessons, but I have always played that riff at the end of the verse the way Rukind has it tabbed. Rukind has the riff ending on an A where your riff ends on a B note. The A seems to match when I play along with the Dead. IDK

Also at 5:50, your pinky is on the 10th fret of B string, but the tab is listed as 11. But it actually sounds pretty cool that's a Bb leading tone to a B which sounds nice, so you could start at the 10 and slide the pinky up at the last minute. I'm not complaining! Just bringing up a variation maybe people could use. Love the channel!

And I think the 5th note of the outro (15:15) should be the 7th note of the D string (A, which fits the song), not the 6th note Ab (which doesn't). A rising tide lifts all boats!

You’re all good, homie. You do you, but I’m a fallible person that makes lessons out of amalgamations of versions I’ve heard and what I think sounds good. So if you’re going for 100% accurate to an album or single show, these lessons aren’t it. They’re supposed to be fun accessible lessons for folks that don’t want the stuffy nature of having to do it perfectly.
