  I don’t know how that’s supposed to be a humble brag. It’s just how it is, bro. I don’t really listen to music. I play music all the time, so sometimes it’s nice to give my ears a rest and listen to people talk, ya know? I listen to a lot of podcasts and video essays. I also try to be careful about the influences I let in. Because they will influence my playing whether I’m conscious of it or not, and I want to stay as genuine as I can in my playing.

  Another great one. I love the way you break these down into chunks. I'm on the fence about all the antics because I just want to learn the song, but you do make it funny and it's like chilling with a bud.   @@TobyDavvy Bro I was the only fan of 3 chatting with him. I hung out and simply expressed a opinion. Over synthetic stuff.. If I couldn't take critic's bout my humble guitars skillIs I'd have to kick most of my family out. lol . And I truly just longed for a accompanying instrument he would play. I know he's a exceptional musician. I'm a one trick pony. Guitar, so I can't and don't shade anyone. He eventually picked up the ax and I said well theres hints of Jeff Beck. I don't give that comp out lightly. But anyway . No offense was ever intended. Got my start in a parking lot guitar circle. GD at the Cap Centre 77. 36 shows in all. Old and in the way. I hate synthetic music and you hooligans get off my lawn. Lol

  I watched my father give up in 2016 and played this song to ease my mind. He passed away in 2020. Family business we made into a 50 year success finally took its toll.

  Love this channel and you are the absolute best! But you have the chords totally wrong in the pre-chorus. They are C ("you know you") Cdim7 ("bound") Dm7 ("to wind up") C ("dead"). Without going through the Cdim chord you will never get the correct sound for this great tune.

  @@TobyDavvy re-reading my comment, I didn't mean to come off as such a heavy! You can certainly play it however fits best into your ear. The fun thing about that little diminished chord progression is how it slyly tips a cap to the old silent movies ... e.g., when the fair young lass was tied to the tracks and the hero had to save her!
