Thanks for this, it has long been one of my favourite old-time tunes and you have unravelled some of the mysteries of Norman Blake's version for me. One point though, you play it A A B A as is usual for modern tunes, whereas Norman plays A A B B, the usual format of old-time fiddle tunes.
Your playing puts me in awe and takes me back in time.... your guitar sounds unlike anything I have ever heard...
Norman would be proud, and he's not easy to please!

Sounds amazing probably one of the nicest sounding guitarsout there! That recording king sounds otherworldly, im thinking of enlarging the soundhole on my rk got any tips?
