I am 74 --bought the WHO album in 1968 magic bus ---great song!

Veteran guitar player here. I loved this song & just wanted quick instructions on the main chords (tabs never worked for me). This was simple & got it down in 10min, thanks for being clear & keeping the chords you show in default finger stance. Can't stand when an instructor tries to show chords but use some weird method to achieve the sound (like you mentioned using the thumb on E). Gonna be jamming this song all day until I get sick of it.....awesome.

They way youplaythe G is thumb on low E string tip on thumb mutes A string. Ring finger on High E and B. That’s an. E5 try it it is fast and you already have ring finger positioned for the D and index and middle are free to start D

but do u do upstrokes aswell when u mute the snares at start?

Soooooo, put your finger right there on those strings and hit that string there with the pick. My fingers are blurring the strings becau......oops, my camera fell over - ooooh don't mind that girl tided up in the corner, that's nothing...... maybe I should tune up a bit first....
