Great tutorial. Pete is one of The great rhythm guitarists. Sometimes it's all about the right hand. I have loved this song ever since I bought the 45 at 10 yrs old. Pete style (different every time).....

Thanks- great lesson and thanks for explaining it. I must have surfed through about 10-15 Magic Bus "tutorials" or Magic Bus "explained" and yours is by far the best for teaching players how to play this song.

Always wanted to learn this song. Has a bit of Bo Diddley shuffle with Pete Townsend's embellishments. Couldn't quite get it down on my own. This guitar lesson is perfect. Thanks

Hello! I'm new here and I think your videos are fantastic :) But greedy me can't settle for the 353 videos you already have, sorry. I'm not sure if you've done it already since I haven't been on here long enough to scroll through all the videos on your channel, but if you haven't, I was wondering if you could do a video on "dust in the wind" by Kansas. Thanks :)

I disagree with you saying that this is how the original recording was. I think this is your version, and people should learn from this, but I think it is wrong to say, unless you did not know, that this is what was on the record. The key to understanding this song is the rhythm, you are correct, but one has to understand the capo at the 4th fret.

Good tutorial for the tips on strumming and other chord placing but no explanation as to why that A barre chord becomes another chord. What I was really looking for was the riff about halfway through the song? which is not the 'riff' he showed. A bit disappointing tbh.

Agreed. People tend to fo that when they're not sure what they're doing, or, trying to impress - way too fast, and not as the original recording.
