I played claw on my scuf and wen broke I switched back to my daulshock which is smaller and I have problems not with claw now yk any things I could do repeatedly to get the memory back because playing with out memory affects aim due bad thumb placement abd my hand being tired

Just have to practice the fundamentals. Proper thumb placement in the middle of the stick and right index in the center of the face buttons. If you start with the right grip, it will all fall into place.

@@temptation1 still gotta learn it a bit but its been going good so far gotta change some of my deadzones and stuff, any tips on getting it right or should it just be from the feeling during gameplay?

@@celynnec Deadzones are specific to your controller. My DS4 controller works well at zero on the left and .07 on the right. You should start them both at zero and then raise them .01 at a time until there’s no drift happening on either stick. The numbers will be specific to your controller, so I can’t make a recommendation unfortunately.

subbed.. watch your main video and i am really impressed about it.. however i have a question. I have heard that playing claw longtime would give you carpel tunnel... what is your oppinion on this ? because i have considered to switch to claw these days.

Thanks for the sub! I personally don’t think you’d get carpel tunnel from claw. The key is doing it right. If you’re uncomfortable doing it and experience pain, then I could easily see having hand issues. I’m not a doctor, but after two years of playing like this now, I don’t have injury concerns with my hands from claw.

@@temptation1 thank u so much for the quick reply.... reading your comment solved most of my issues. Bt there is a one more question if you dont mind... i tried claw with bumper jumper tactical.. so i still use r3 to slide on cod... when i use r3 to slide with claw hand positioning , my hand gives a slight pain... but when im playing regular bumper jumper ( non claw) i dont have this pain.i suppose may be my hands are getting used to claw since its a new positioning with the controller.... dont u think ? also i need to play with claw for more days since this is my second day of trying it.....

@@malinthaherath3060 So it could be because your hand (right side) isn't rotated enough to the left, which put it more on top of the controller. The other thing to consider is the purpose for playing claw. Bumper jumper is to allow you to jump easier. Claw allows you to hit all face buttons with ease. If this were me, I'd be playing default flipped or tactical flipped. This way you're hitting jump easily with claw and sliding easy as well. It puts the layout in a more default approach is also more translatable to other FPS games playing on controller.

@@temptation1 thanks. i didnt want to play full claw since i thought it would give me a huge arm pain. that is why i tried to stick with bumper jumper and tried claw at the same time... i will try rotating my hand inwards - left side and see. Thank you so much for guiding me. i will give u an update after some days

@@malinthaherath3060 I get it. Again, if this is me, I drive fully in. I jump into a private match server and just grind against bots for a couple of hours with the new grip and layout. Once you know you're getting the hand of it, get in pubs and test it further.

@@mr.cipishao1523 takes practice. My aim was awful on claw for at least a week. Took about a month to be fully comfortable.

Do you use more of the tip of your thumb or the whole thumb while aiming

It varies throughout a game. Usually start more with the tip of the thumb but usually slide down a bit as I play.

i wish u would show it upwards so we could see how your fingers are positioned on the bumpers and back of the controller

Don't hesitate to try this out in the mean time. Custom controllers are great, don't get me wrong, this is just more cost effective and pretty easy to get used to. I have custom controllers too, yet I still prefer to play claw on controller.

If you’re playing CoD and haven’t flipped the bumpers and triggers, you should really try that. It allows you to easily press X to jump while firing with R1 using your middle finger.

I have long fingers but my fingers go deep and i feel like im playing claw wrong what should i do?

Are you referring to playing deep in the controller? Are you asking if you should try to correct that by pulling your hand more away from the controller. I’m just trying to understand the question.
