2 years in on playing double claw. I never knew double claw was a big thing. I only seen people play single claw and one day I decided to try double claw just because the thought of it popped up in my head

Are you supposed to be using the stick with the edge of your thumbs or are your thumbs supposed to he centered the whole time ?

It’s really up to you, but I feel more in control when I’m aware of being center on the stick. I’ll typically readjust between rounds or matches.

@@dianireynolds_ In the beginning, it can be. If you start to have pain or it doesn’t get easier as you’re playing, you’ll need to reassess how you’re actually gripping the controller.

I play right hand claw on xbox and transitioning to a playstation controller on pc. Am I weird for using my middle finger on the RB and ring finger on the trigger XD. I right claw and have a finger on every button. I got long fingers bc I'm 6'3 so I just make it work lmao

All preference. If you can hit the face buttons with your pointer finger, that’s all that matters.

I know this video is 1 year. I play doble claw with my ring finger in R2, can you tell me how to hold the controller naturally? is very uncomfortable for me holding the controller with the right small finger

It would probably need to be supported by inward pressure from both hands, as if you’re pushing your hands together gently. I don’t play double that way, but that would be how I’d do it if I did it your way.

@@femto9066 You have to make sure your thumb is centered in the middle of the stick before wrapping the rest of your hand on the controller. If it still feels comfortable, the height may be too much for you. You may want to consider a lower stick potentially.

What claw can I play if I have small hands 😵

Doesn’t matter the size of your hands. You can play single or double claw. This grip is for anyone. Smaller hands doesn’t mean you can’t play double claw. I’d learn single first then move to double once you’re comfortable.

I tried playing like I got shorter hands but was struggling keeping my hands tighter I just got longer hands

Make sure the controller sits more in the end of the fingers on the backside supported by your ring fingers and pinkies. Do not put the controller too far in your hands or it will be hard to properly play claw.

Touch pad edit then every other bind should be binded to what comfortable. Main reason for double clawing on ps4 controller is to hit touchpad
