One of the best i've seen !

The game is not complex at all and I really recommend it. I think the most complex part of the original game was the translation to English. Like a round is referred to as turns so people get confused there during the action phase. Some cards are easily misunderstood but if you dumb it down it's easy to pick it up and clarify.

Ugh I’m really thinking about backing this game. But it would definitely be the most complex game I own, and my eyes glazed over about 1/2 of the way through this (very well done) video

I own the first black rose wars and once you play a couple of times, you get the hand of it quickly... but it is a LONG game. I still don't understand how this is different gameplay wise from the original. Just new minis and spells and how can this be combined with the original

Very cool looking game. Many interesting concepts. Beautiful art for certain. I'm actually trying to design a tabletop game right now. Maybe some day you guys will review it too!

The German rulebook has at leat 3 mistakes in the example pictures and some other inconsistencies. That is why I was seeking out a video. You rid great. You said you can activate all your spells and have up to 6 actions per turn. My rulebook says, you have 1 or 2 actions and activating a spell is one of them. That didn't make any sense in actual gameplay. Okay: I'll restart the game with your rules.

Just beware of LMS, still not fully fullfilled the original BRW, refuses to communicate with backer on projects, extremely late on all projects, actively lies to backers and then when caught in the lie they refuse to apologize or even admit it

Not only that. This 'new' game is the same game as the original black rose wars, with just some characters switched and new spell schools. They do this so instead of charging 70 for an expansion pack, they can charge double for a 'new' game. They're stretch goals even contain copies of elements from the original game.
