Hi, Good day! I just came across this randomly. It's currently the vacation right now but I'm trying to come up with a research topic because it's needed for the next school year. I'm going to be in 9th grade and I study at a Science High School, you can say it's in our curriculum. Your videos has really helped me decide on what topic I want to pursue. Still, I will need to discuss it with my future members. Thank you. Godspeed!

I was going to register for my regional science fair in hopes of making it to ISEF and doing well but from what you have described it seems like this may be a longer process than what I was expecting. It is currently October and the competition takes place in the Spring. Am I too late for this year. I don’t yet have an idea and am just starting the entire process. Am I too late for this year?

Hey Rishaib, I see that many high schoolers, along with urself, are doing research in fields related to medicine. Is there a reason for this? I am genuinely interested in Physics and Mathematics, is it common practice to do research in those areas while a student is in high school. One last question, What advice do you have on studying the theory before beginning literature review.

Hey, thanks for your tips. I am going to ISEF 2023 and I have a quick question: What constitutes as a novel, or prize-worthy idea at ISEF? Like I am also doing an ML project and there is some research papers similar to my project (but they use a significantly smaller, less diverse dataset). How do you make sure the judges understand your idea is different or better than those research papers without making them misunderstand that it is not novel? Like regarding you winning last year, there is a research paper published in 2020 about using DL for codon optimization in Nature (s41598-020-74091-z) How did you convey that your idea is novel? My main question is, doesn't it take too long to explain how your research is novel compared to all the similar research papers online?

I would make a spreadsheet and a list of all your activities, then try to rank them in various categories: 1) personal fun/pleasure, 2) healthy, 3) helps for your career/academics. Then, prioritize activities that rank the highest on average among these categories.

Jesus loves you so much Rishab! I pray you give your life to Jesus! Science is wonderful, and it studies creation. You wanna know more about science? Get to know it's creator, and the One who died on the Cross for your sins. For we all have sinned and come short of the Glory (Perfection of a Holy God) Jesus created us all and is the beginner of science! Jesus created it all, and us all. Which is why we must serve Him, Jesus died on The Cross to save all of us from Hell, which is the result of sin. Sin leads to separation from God, which leads to d3ath. The reason sin leads to d3ath is because God is perfect and He does not like sin and we fall at the mercy of God, who loves us and loves to do the right. God loves you so mu that He created you , knitted you together in your mother's womb, and says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. But God is Holy, and righteous, He loves to do the right and we do things like lying or hating someone or saying His name in vain and cursing . God must separate sin from Himself and so because we are separated from all good, we are left with not-good, actually the opposite. EVIL. notice live is the backwards version of evil and there is no life, no true life only depression , despair, hopelessness in hell. that's where sin leads. that's where you're going. But God does not want you or me to go to Hell, and so His mercy was in the form of Jesus Christ, the Only Son of the Living God, who died for our sins, on the Cross of Calvary. He gave His back to those who beat Him, and He did not turn His face from insults and spitting. why did Jesus give His back to those who beat Him and not turn His face from insults and spitting. Jesus, the perfect Only Son of the Living God loves you, and He died for you. he loves you so much that He was willing to give up His life for you for free. Jesus the Lover of your soul loves you so much that He (if you will trust in HIm and surrender your life to HIm) died on the Cross, giving Hus life up, for your sins, to be forgiven. Now is The Time to trust in Him, Rishab! Jesus loves you
