Stanford (1st)or MIT (2nd)- My rationale- seen all campuses and the opportunity they give, and the major you are choosing. My son went went to Stanford and my cousin's daughter to Harvard. MIT would be really nice and challenging but let me tell you, you will love Stanford. Just the ambience, year round weather. As a you tuber it will be a boon for you.

I find it so inspiring how you were so confident in your accomplishments. It is clear that you worked so hard and aimed so high, so you deserve every acceptance. What I find especially interesting about this reaction video is that you've applied to a select few schools compared to others I see online (who apply to 15-20 schools), which shows that you're focused and confident at what you'll achieve. With regard to which schools to pick, I think a lot of it comes down to the research opportunities you will get, since that is a factor in grad school admissions and is something you're passionate in.

People who get into amazing schools REA are able to do this. Those who don’t tend to apply to 15-20 schools. Knowing he has Harvard as a “backup” puts him in an incredibly good spot for RD colleges so that he can choose to apply for either no colleges because he’s going to Harvard or a select few even if they’re the top colleges in the world. If he didn’t have Harvard, he most likely would have applied to a ton more especially safety schools

man already knew he was in. He got into RSI and Regenron, two of the most unbelievably competitive research programs for highschoolers (they have an acceptance rate lower than any ivy and their applicant pool is usually way more competitive)

also this is just for perspective on how he got into harvard, mit, etc. He's not just the top 1% of students in the US; he's probably top 1% of mit and harvard and ivies combined. You have to be unfathomably gifted to get the accolades he has. Props to you, Rishab.

Go away somewhere quiet, close your eyes and think of each school & program - choose the place that gives you butterflies when you see yourself there, that’s your gut talking! And congratulations ❤

I have friends that went to/graduated from every school you applied to. All academic power houses. VERY different campus culture/student social atmospheres. Stanford and Duke offer the quintessential traditional college experience (D1 sports, greek life, very active social scene/campus culture), while still maintaining elite academic status. BU is a mix of independent urban campus (parts of campus blend into the city) meets traditional college experience (social scene is more state school vibes especially having Allston right there and the amount of other colleges close by) - which is kind of unheard of at big urban schools where the social scene tends to revolve around being in the city. Harvard and MIT are very unique/distinct college experiences. Especially with Harvard's house system AND being in Boston.

I think you should choose MIT or Stanford. Harvard has changed - and I don’t mean in a good way. I read a little about you on the internet and it seems like you would thrive in an intellectual environment. MIT does a lot of collaborations and teamwork where you can change the world and tackle the hardest problems in a team with other brilliant students. I would personally go to MIT.

I literally do not care about Havard or other "ivies" my dream school is MIT, then Stanford. Aside from that I wouldn't mind hoing to CalTech, Georgia Yech and UCB or any other ivies. But give me MIT or Stanford 🤧🤧

Congratulations! Okay I maybe a bit biased! 😅Duke is an amazing school. I did my nursing undergrad there and it's highly competitive - admission is like less than 6%. The Neuroscience is a great program. I also worked as an RN at Stanford for almost 10 years and I am in love with the campus. But if I was given the spot at Harvard, I will pick Harvard. I am also in the process of applying for my Doctorate in Nursing programs and this really inspired me to pursue it. Oh did I mention I did my Executive MBA at USC? This college decision day took me back to my old days...LOL. 😁😁😁😁

When making the decision, look at possible faculty mentors in your fields of interest, flexibility to change major if you get inspired to go in a different direction, school work/play balance, and networks you will be developing for your career. Ultimately, any of those schools are wonderful!

His extracurriculars were crazy bro. He got into rsi (which is the most prestigious research institute for high schoolers which only 80 get in and it’s at mit) times top 25 most influential teens and way more

Honestly, I surmise that you possess the capacity to flourish at MIT. However, if economizing is a priority, Boston University may serve as a viable alternative (since you got that scholarship), given its array of distinguished programs.

GO TO BU! I'm not even saying that as a grad from there. You seem extremely excited about the program AND your tuition is covered. No student debt and a great program should be way more important than the name of the college.

Didn’t apply to UMD, Madison, Emory, Berkeley, LA, Dartmouth, and NYU. Got into all the schools above except BC(got transfer option for Cornell).

I applied to 17 schools and got 13. I was rejected at Harvard, Tufts and BC. Also got accepted into UConn, Case Western, WPI, RPI, Rutgers, Drexel, Temple, and Stony Brook

Don't mind me saying this Rishabh but at 4:45 of video when you got into MIT you and your friends jumping seemed like a petrol engine's pistons moving up and down. That's is called synchronised jumping. All jumping in sync.

I would choose Harvard for an undergraduate collegiate experience and consider MIT/Stanford again for grad school for specialty research.

Harvard, MIT or Stanford. Go to whichever one you like. Since you mentioned Neuroscience as your choice of subject, I feel Harvard has an edge.

I think you should go to Harvard because of the grade inflation, not that you can’t handle the coursework but so you can spend more time on things you’re more passionate about rather than studying all the time. Also, because it’s Harvard.

First of all Congrats on being accepted to 5 of the most prestigious Universities in the World. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of these 5 schools, Which ever school you choose I am sure you will do very well. Obviously I don't know you, but for you to get accepted into these 5 Universities, you clearly had to have worked very hard in High School to be in your situation. I am sure you will make the best choice for yourself and best wishes. It's amaing to get accepted to one of the 5 schools you applied to, but to get accepted to all 5 WOW. Good Luck!

My kid also got the Boston university trustee scholarship. It was really hard to pass up but he’s enjoying his first year at Stanford.

Congrats on getting into Harvard, and the other schools. I must admit though, it must be depressing for those high school students that don't have your high GPA, and SAT. I've been watching allot of these videos, and everyone is very smart, and getting scholarships. I'm curious if getting a degree from Harvard or Yale, helps get you a better chance of a good job. My Dad had his BS and MA from Columbia, he also had a degree from Oxford. I got into NYU from a graduate degree, and for my BA I got allot of grants, so only had to pay for first and last semester. I think too it depends on your major. I was an Art and Secondary Education major. Science and Math were not my best subjects, if they were I might have studied to be a Doctor. My Dad was an Analytical Chemist/Bacteriologist doing research in TB and Cancer. I'm happy though for all you guys getting into such prestigious colleges.

It definitely makes a difference on not just if you get a certain job, but how much you are able to climb up the in the company(ies) you're in. That being said, unless you go to a basically unknown college, it's still not extremely difficult to get the job that you would want going to a college like UT or smth like that. It's more for the social flex that you went to a better college than all your co-workers basically, gives you leverage and makes people back off.

Honestly if I got into Harvard I would act that way just because I’m embarrassed about people watching my reaction not because I was confident lol. I would rather be alone if I was looking at the decisions then call them in on the ones that I get into.

I hope this isn’t Westfield high school in Chantilly Virginia. Cause if it is I’m gonna be freaked out 😅
