Hi
Thanks so much for this video Rishab! I'm actually currently in my topic selection, so this video was perfect timing.
This is so so helpful, thank you so much! I’ll definitely be following along this playlist.
Can't wait for video #3 of the course! This was awesome
This is honestly the most useful advice ever!!
Precise and helpful!! Great work 👏
W mans banger video
thank you very much
Hey Rishab, I’m trying to do a CS research topic, but does it have to solve a problem? I wanted to go in depth with this and connect it with the real world/nature. I’m a junior this year so I want to get ahead of this since I started last year
i think you forgot one of the most important steps, namely getting the foundation, you cant expect to understand high level calculus not knowing algebra
@RishabJainK

This foundation can be obtained later; you acquire the skills that you need to do the project.

This is actually a really great way of learning. The project forces you to learn as tou go.

@@RishabJainKI saw your other video w Shriya about ISEF and you mentioned how you had a lot of field knowledge. How did you gain so much knowledge about a field? I’m interested in engineering but get kinda lost when I try to understand research done by professors

@@RishabJainKdo you think you gained most of your field knowledge through papers, news, basically just media on the field

Hey Rishab, Great video as always, but I have a couple questions. I'm trying to get into research in Quantum Mechanics, but the math prerequisite is so high that I can only understand the topics intuitively not mathematically, should I pick out a new topic or is there something that I can do?

Hello bro. I am a highschool and I was super into Cosmolgy and blackholes in general, and had almost the same problem you have. To be honest, just to understand the math we need to spend years and to do research even more. I essentially didn't give up on my cosmolgy project but decided to do it later. Right now I'm working on orbital mechanics for example, and the math isn't so damn hard. Besides, since we are doing RESEARCH, we first need to understand the material at a great level. My advice ? Still learn quantum mechanics it's awesome but do your project in something that still inspires you and you think that it'll worth it.
hi nice video do you know if i can join the isef competition from the uk
Hi. I couldn't explore research-based opportunities in my high school years. Please share insights on how to pursue research opportunities in college freshman year as a stem and CS student and stand out from the crowd. PS- I am from India therefore would love to know about the opportunities available to students internationally. Thanks a lot!
Thanks!!! Third
Rishab Thank you for posting this video man cant wait for ep 3 I was soooo stuck on what to do but this broadened my mind and if i had a question to you it would be: is year 11 too late to compete in science fairs/ competitions?. It equates to around grade 10 in the US I believe.

Not too late at all especially for science and math competitions/olympiads. I suggest you begin now though.

@@brix3877 I can't do olympiads till next year because this yrs are gnna be done and i would just get a participation award as it is mostly based on the A-level spec which I have not touched cuz i got GCSE this yr but this isn't an excuse next year I am 100% going to be taking chem and bio olympiads and I am doing a whole ton of revision this summer asw as research and shadowing a PhD student in their research, and for maths max i would get in the olympiads would be bronze LOL I am not good in maths I am decent at best I get grade 8s which is like A* and a-level maths is a drag and not a subject I enjoy. Sorry for writing a whole paragraph LMAO

@@JustAyz11 you should ask your teacher to register you and moderate you like go to them and tell them you are interested in doing in my case a biology olympiad they would register you for the national biology olympiads and you would take an exam in your school.

when will the next video come?
i don’t see the mind map/consumption step(mind maps, etc.) on the page you linked in the pinned comment.
Cool
Hey Rishab, Do you think that it’s feasible to delve into machine learning projects with minimal experience in coding? I’ve heard conflicting things about this, some saying that having advanced knowledge in languages like python is needed. How do you feel?
@RishabJainK

Yes! Data analysis and statistics can be used; oftentimes you won’t need any programming.

Hey Rishab, What programming languages have you learnt or used for ML and AI? Thanks And how did you learn these?

Is the template not working for anyone else? I opened it in the US and it worked, but I am currently traveling and whenever I open the link it takes me to a page that says "A demo of react-markdown".

Hi Rishab, I was wondering where the document template is for this video. I clicked on the sciencefair link but it seems to redirect me to a page specifically filled with 'react-markdown' codes (?)

It doesn't look finished.
Where is the notes template? On the Science Fair guide website, it stops at a certain point and does not include the notes template.

Right now, I'm smack dab in the middle of eighth grade, and I don't have any useful extracurriculars. science fairs are also the type of thing where if you're not creative and you're not really smart, I don't think you will get anywhere. would it benefit me to go down this path and is it too late?
