Thanks for sharing! I kinda thought that maybe something like this would be possible somehow when I first learned about 3D space... and here it is!

Hi! Loving your crazy node view, they speak to me on a deeper level, as I also love to construct "contraptions" using said tools. That said, I built this in my own TB workspace, and noticed that the segments are seamless in Open GL, but when I went to Render view you can definitely see the split between each segment, and I've tried a few various tricks to overcome this, as I wanted to use this setup for "matte painting" my FX on it, but seem unable to do so. Any ideas? I tried, scaling the drawings in X, Matte resize in various positions and so on.

Well done this is an awesome trick... one question! Wouldn't be the same creating one drawing with the rectangle, apply all the modules needed and duplicate 32 times with CTRL+B? this should save a bit of time I guess

He'd still have to arrange them in perfect order, but at least he'd skip the rotation points step

That's great. We can create a 3D flag animation too with this technique 🚩😁👍

Is the node layer a part of Premium or could Advanced use nodes? (I only have Advanced but I want to know if I could get nodes in there.)

Only premium. I really feel like Advanced deserves to have them though

Thing is, I did that first and it didn’t work! Yeah it made them selectable but distribute to layers still saw it all as one piece. It wouldn’t behave until I’d done the shimmy

@@OnionSkin Tried and noticed that myself in Harmony 20. There is a 16 field guide in 20 though, I also just nudged each rectagle up once to break them. No need to shift left then right or vice versa.
