This happened to me thirty so years ago. One of my biggest fears was public speaking. I was determined to breakthrough and I had an opportunity to give a talk on yoga and it's origins to about thirty people. I went into battle mode preparing two weeks in advance. I must not fail, so I had my fact checked speech ready to go. When it came to the time, I felt like jelly and all my internal energy was focused on not letting anyone see that I was a nervous wreck. Could they see my trembling hands, my rapid breathing and perspiration? My speech lasted four words ... "The origins of Yoga ......" ---- Then "I am so sorry, I cannot do this, I am so nervous" --- and that's when the magic happened. The palpable empathy and compassion from the audience completely dissolved all my anxiety. I spoke for over an hour freely, completely relaxed. However it was the Heart that spoke and not the head. (ie. - not the notes) The teaching's of Eckhart are both beautiful and simple. They also point deeper and deeper into the wonderful mystery that connects us all. I salute the Buddha ( or Truth, God) within each and every one of us

I have also suffered public speaking since I know myself. But once I was determined to face it. I had note on which it was written Presence. I was as aware as possible, could hear my heart beat, couldn't breathe. It was before presentation started. I just didn't resist anything, constantly trying to just be present. When the presentation started, I stayed present for a few seconds (as I promised to myself). When I started speaking the fear disappeared completely. I had never had such relaxed presentation which I truly enjoyed.

This also happened to my dear mother. Body and mind - the ego no longer had the strength to fight, the ego fell silent and she sank into the same state as your mother. There is a video where Tolle talks about it. I always thought about it, and only now after 2 decades I got the answer.

Awaking is when you return back to your stare as Eternal Spirit Consciousness....the same as God Consciousness. You are not the body and mind, you are Eternal Spirit trapped in the body and mind, you have forgotten over many incarnations. Meditation Separation is the ancient practice of putting the body and mind to sleep but staying AWAKE and ALERT inside until you Experience yourself as Eternal Spirit again. This is called Nirvana, Satori, Awake as Eternal Spirit again -Buddha, The Tao, Cosmic Consciousness, Born again -Jesus, Garden of Eden, Prodigal Son, Heaven within Luke 17 21, non Duality.Obtaining the Golden Fleece in Greek mythology ,Virtue by Socrates all the same . Trying to paint the Mona Lisa by using water colors is not going to work ....... sincerely Leonardo. (from Vinci ) it's in Italy 😁

Once you discover the present moment, you sense your own Presence. Thus the realization of your true self becomes known! It's so simple it's quite funny. You're always here.. never there. Where is there? Your own thoughts. The mind wants an identity, so it creates one. However, you are not the mind. You are the presence! Just sense your own essence without any thought. It's always here!

have been listening for almost 3 years..have read most of his books he has helped me tremendously….but I’m severely anxious and depressed now…& he keeps going over same points (without getting to THE point) ….HOW MANY PEOPLE need to be public speakers anyhow ? Is that really a crucial teaching? But….oh! After listening to complete vid, this becomes more important than I thought it would be …much more! Especially important what he says toward the end.

Great advice as always. public speaking is possibly the number one fear and I had it especially bad especially on Camera New Year’s Eve 2019 Spirit came through and told me to start a Channel here and after I told them they were crazy lol I accepted the challenge and like Eckhart says I just did it but I also made up affirmations and sleep programs and engaged in mental rehearsal, and I reprogram my mind so instead of feeling nervous when I do videos or livestreams I feel happy and empowered. Reprogramming the mental computer is the key to success in so many areas. We get program through the power of repetition and we can reprogram our mind in the same way. This is how I heal the lifelong auto immune disease that doctors couldn’t, turned my financial life around etc. We can all change our lives by changing our minds from the inside out. ( start with PRESENCE)

If you're struggling with a fear of public speaking, there are several strategies you can use to overcome it. Start by preparing thoroughly and practicing your speech or presentation. Visualize yourself succeeding and receiving positive feedback. Remember that the audience is on your side and wants you to do well. Focus on your breathing and use relaxation techniques to manage any anxiety. With time and practice, you'll build confidence and become a more effective and confident public speaker.

Here is a little bit of wisdom about fear from an incredible free online book titled - *_Wisdom from the Greater Community, Book 1 » Chapter 25: Escaping Fear_* "One of the difficult things that the student of Knowledge must learn to do accurately is to be able to discern fear, to know when he or she is afraid and say, “Oh, I am afraid!” When you say that, half of your burden is gone in the moment. People are afraid and think it is something else, it is someone else or that something is going on. But they are only afraid. When you are afraid, you are without Knowledge. If you are acting crazy, you cannot respond. If you are closed, no one can reach you. I am not speaking here of the fear that you experience when you are obviously very frightened of something. I am talking about your normal state of mind. I say this only to give you an indication that there is something far greater waiting for you. You see, I’ll tell you a great secret from beyond the world. God does not care if you are a “nice person.” That is not important. God does not care if you look good. Not important. There is only being real. If you are real and it is important to look good, well, you will look good! It is not a problem. It is simply an expedient in order to communicate with others. There are only two things in life-I make everything simple. I could write a book with only two sentences: “There are only two things in life. There is Knowledge and there is looking good.” It is true. Looking good! Why look good? To protect an idea of self. If you think I am kidding, then go outside one day dressed completely inappropriately for who you think you are and see how you feel. You will be afraid. Go out dressed like people you do not like. You will be afraid. You do not really need to do this, but some of you are very adventurous and want to try out everything. Lifetimes are spent trying out all the things the world has to offer, and in this day and age the world has so much more to offer. A very exciting place, yes? Then you realize that everything the world has to offer is all the same, and only your desire for Knowledge remains. You can go out to your car, open the door and experience Knowledge. The most ordinary action. This may be much greater than going to the Pyramids around the world. You know why? Because the Pyramids do not mean anything. The only thing in the Pyramids that means anything is the Knowledge that was experienced when they were built. Other than that, they are just more “stuff” in an interesting shape. The same is true with all places considered holy or sacred. Their only value is the Knowledge that has been experienced there. So, you go to those places and the Knowledge that was experienced remains there, for any place where Knowledge has been experienced is a holy place. You can experience Knowledge in a bathtub. Then it becomes as holy a sanctuary as the great cathedral!"

All problems are actually created by unconscious thinking. When you step out of compulsive unconscious thinking, you face situation where you take either action or no action.🐛🐛🦋🐞 When you face "unacceptable" situation, then you need to go really deep, because doing is not possible anymore.🌿🌿🌹🌷🌷🌷 There comes a time when doing needs to be relinquished. That's when real realization happens.🐞🌷🌷🐌🐌🐌🦋 Thanks Eckhart. 9 November 2022.

To people dealing with fears, anxiety and sadness, I highly recommend HeartMath...(which is free or nearly free). Get one of their books. Eckhart Tolle's stuff will never heal the underlying issues - its temporary relief at best. I have spent many years trying everything else out there and spending a ton of cash. The trick with heart math is to focus on the right keyword for the situation you want to feel better about. With public speaking they suggest breathing 'self acceptance' and love for self, love for the audiance... But I also found breathing things like 'i belong here', 'i am welcome' with the heart coherence breathing works great.. You have to try a couple of 'attitudes' to breathe - and things that never heal in psychology can be fixed quick.
