The word 'God fearing'convey different meaning as per context . In the above said matrimonial ad, it means 'daiva bhayam' which means the one who respect,love and fear God with reverence. This word is mostly used by Christians. Though God is loving,merciful etc , He is righteous is executing judgement too. So if a girl or boy respects God with reverence, she or he can show it in practical life in the family,sociey and workplace.
