Your video has convinced me to buy a Knapsack sprayer to apply ferrous sulphate as a moss killer as I have had decades of burning the lawn with various granular products and push along dispensers where the grass gets burnt everytime I move the dispenser to start a new strip. I also have moss in a damp west facing border. Would it do any harm to also spray the borders which have shrubs, bulbs and summer bedding plants and what would be the correct weight per area that I should use for the borders to discourage the moss and to fertilise the plants without killing them?

Hi, great informative video. Can I ask the reason for needing 8-12 litres of water in per 100 sqm in a knapsack but 25-50 litres if using a watering can?

Knapsacks spray finer droplets so coat the surface more readily with less water

Allowing product to that hasnt been dissolved to be discarded, dilutes your careful measurements..!

Hi Tim, good point but the amount discarded is perhaps 1000th of the total volume so doesn't make a bit of difference.
