I prefer my porridge thick but you can make yours a bit watery if you prefer it that way.

Why didn't you add fish before the vegetables?

Because Scumbia fish is very soft and I didn't want it to cook for long, so It doesn't scatter completely in the porridge.

@@Vee.reality Either way, the yam porridge will still come out delicious, you can try it out and see. I just don't like the fish to completely disappear in the yam porridge because it’s very soft. That's how I like mine but either way still works fine.
