My Grandmother baby sat for the Miceli kids. She told me it was pronounced Mi"s"eli's. Which is the way all of us Valley kid's pronounced it. It's still run by the family I think. I heard they're having financial problems due to Covid restrictions of course. There is a Gofund me up I think. Love this show! "Go see Cal"

Cal Worthington and his “dog Spot”, always had me shaking my head as a youngster. I never knew what he would bring on tv next. I remember thinking that those dealerships might be kinda weird if that’s what it was like to go there. Thanks for the memories. I grew up in San Diego, and those commercials were something that I had forgotten. I am also grateful for all of your wonderful tiki vibes and history. As a kid in the 70’s it was still hanging on. If it weren’t for you, I would have forgotten all of that too. Glad you got your whole family for your birthday. They seem lovely. Happy birthday. Thanks for all your great content and blessing me with memories from my childhood. May you have lots of prosperity, good health, and loving friends in the coming year.

Matt, this was really fun to see your family. Funny you mention Johnny's in Downey, when I was very young, early 60's, I remember going there in my Aunt's 1950's Plymouth with my mom and cousin. The back seat of the car was missing and my cousin & I sat in folding wooden stools! Really safe, right? We used to go frequently and it was fun as a kid. Oh, and your Mom worked in the early 60's? She does not look old enough to have been doing much more than playing with blocks! Your drinks must have an age reversal effect! Happy belated Birthday!

Still catching up in your series. Loved that U had your mom on. Enjoyed the episode. Perhaps a sequel with "Tahititan Rum Punch"? :)
