The Easiest Bread You'll Ever Make: • The EASIEST Bread You'...
NO-FUSS HOMEMADE PASTA
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 large eggs
Combine the flour and salt.
Make a well in the center of the flour, and add the eggs.
Gently begin to mix the eggs, gradually drawing in flour with each stroke. Eventually a stiff dough will form.
Knead the pasta dough for 6-7 minutes.
If the dough is too dry and won’t stick together, add a 1/2 teaspoon of water. If it is too sticky, sprinkle in a bit more flour.
Keep in mind this dough will be much stiffer than your traditional bread doughs. However, the longer you work it, the smoother and more pliable it will become.
We are looking for a smooth, satiny consistency, which will begin to develop the more you knead.
Cover the well-kneaded dough tightly with plastic wrap, and allow it to rest for around 45 minutes. (This resting phase is super important, as it gives the dough time to relax. Otherwise, you’ll fight it the whole time you are rolling it out.)
After the resting period, divide the dough into four portions.
Pasta Machine Instructions:
Rolling the dough is a process- you need to make several passes, throughout each thickness setting for the best results. I start with the biggest setting (usually 5 or 6), run it through once or twice there, and then start gradually adjust the settings to be thinner and thinner until I have the perfect sheet of golden pasta.
Between each pass, I like to fold the strip into thirds. This helps square up the edges and keeps things even. Then simply roll it through the cutting side of the machine to slice into spaghetti or fettucine.
Rolling Pin Instructions:
If you don’t have a pasta machine, you can simply use a rolling pin and knife (or pizza cutter). Keep in mind you’ll want to roll it out as thin as humanly possible, as it will plump up considerably once you cook it.
Roll each portion of dough out on a well-flour surface and then cut into thin strips. Your noodles will be more rustic, but they’ll still taste amazing.
From here, you can either cook your pasta right away (3-4 minutes in boiling water) or dry it.
It also freezes well- just make sure you don’t throw it into the freezer in a big lump, because then you’ll end up with a pasta dumpling when you go to cook it.
Serve your perfect homemade pasta with homemade sauces, or olive oil, Parmesan, and fresh herbs.

I loved your humour at the start of this one 😜
I just bought the cookbook and have already successfully used two recipes. It's a very well written cookbook, and is quickly rising to the top of the MANY others in my library.

Totally appreciate and love the sprinkling of slightly sarcastic/sassy comments! Makes you so relatable and enjoyable to watch!
I really love your candor...you demystify and make everything seem doable. Thank you!
Life changing!! I bought a pasta maker and my family and I now enjoy fresh noodel meals! Thank you!!
Thank you for all the home cooked recipes. I have made your bread/ pizza dough and we made pasta tonight. Bought your cookbook two days ago. We just received it tonight. Can't wait to dig into it!
For the hand thinned dough, roll it into a log, then it's much easier to cut into long strips. Just be sure to flour well first or it'll stick to itself.

Hey, this is Mike Preparing the best pasta can be really difficult at first. It was almost impossible for us to master how to do it without proper step-by-step tutorial from the Professional chefs. I’ve watched hundreds of tutorials online, but nothing beat this simple, clear to the cut video here: tii.ai/hDsNHom Click the l,nk above and you’ll land on intermediate page, just click ’’I’m not a robot’’ to continue and you’ll land on the best KZread tutorial video on pasta cooking where it shows step-by-step on how to prepare al-dente pasta even if you’re complete beginner. I hope that someone shows met his first when I was learning how to prepare my first pasta dish. That could sav eme hours and hours ıf bangting my head on the wall, trying different methods out. Again you can watch the tutorial here: tii.ai/hDsNHom Best Regards, Mike

I did both methods the only thing with the log method is if you want tinny cut of pasta it can be hard to get that with the log method
Jill, Thanks for this tutorial! You make recipes look so easy. I made your simple bread after watching the video and it turned out perfect. I made it twice, a loaf and burger buns from the second batch! I will definitely try this recipe. Blessings, Judy ❤️

Jill! Amazing and easy pasta recipe! My 15 year old, who wants to be a chef, opted for the “on the counter” method and we had a blast. Don’t have a press so we used a rolling pin and it went so well. We also did the pesto recipe in your cook book, YUMMMM. It was a hit! I retire in a few years and am honing my skills, with your help, for a modern homestead! 😘
I love how real you are in your videos and how you show multiple ways of making things if you don’t have the tools on hand.

Thanks Jill! I FINALLY got a pasta maker & TONIGHT will be the first time I use it using YOUR directions. Subscribed & I'll let you know how it went. Thanks so much!
Looks so simple and yummy! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the tutorial. I got a pasta maker at an auction several years ago but it had no instructions and I had no idea how to go about using it. Now I feel ready to put it to use in the very near future!
I love the new laid back style of your videos!
Oh wow!!! The dough out wonderfully I can’t wait to taste it..Thank you sooo much!! ♥️♥️

Thats is so awsome. I was just telling my hubs that I wanted to make some pasta this week. He didn't bleive that we could make them without a machine. My dollar store pizza cutter has never let me down in 10 years.. Sometimes its just luck I guess.
I absolutely love your videos. Thank you so much. You make this look like a Lotta fun❤️
pampered chef pizza cutter has been the best I've found and I've had mine forever
Pasta is a nice treat. Love making it.
I have literally tried to make pasta with my girls this week. We failed miserably but after watching this, I'm gonna give it another try!
Just made this and fingers crossed it turns out ,it was so tough but took your advice to keep needing ,this is my first time making past and I even scored a pasta machine like yours from a local store ♥️♥️♥️
Love it. Great channel, just shared it with my son in Hawaii. Thank you. Going to make your easy bread tonight for the first time.
My hubby is a reseller and found one for $15 bucks new in box at a yard sale. He prefers wheat so we'll be doing that. Can't wait!

Lol, "Because they'll be expecting supper again." Thanks for sharing! Think my twin grandsons might enjoy learning how to make pasta. 😊
I've been cooking since I was a kid, but the one dish I always shyed away from making was homemade noodles. It just felt so intimidating to me, but now that I'm recently married and looking to add new dishes to my repertoire, I feel like diving right in. This video is very helpful and hopefully will guide me on my journey to impressing my Chinese in-laws.
I love your channel I use your channel for most things I cook
This is the best videos of making home made noodles ever thanks
Thank you for the video. I bought your cookbook and have baked the crusty Dutch oven bread and it was so good. I know the pasta is in it, but it nice to have visual instructions too. Blessings.

That faucet above the stove is so cool!
I made fresh pasta tonight after watching your video and it turned out great! I really thought I would mess it all up somehow, lol, but it really was easy. Thanks for the great tutorial.
Haven't had time to make noodles in years. This looks excellent.. 🥰 My mom came up with a gluten free substitute that has worked for every thing we've tried. For every one cup of wheat flour use half cup each rice flour and cornstarch. Add an extra egg to hold it all together. And leave out the salt. For some reason forgetting that has made it turn out better. Forgot, if it's something that makes a batter leave out half the water. 🙂
Beautiful kitchen cabinets!
First time making pasta and my 3 year old loved it
Love this video!!! Thank you!
That looks delicious.
That looked so yummy! I am hungry for that! I always made homemade noodles for our kids and just rolled them out right away, boiled them right a way and just put butter on them....kids love them! And there was no " pretty" noodles....I use a pizza cutter....the kids would fight over who got the longest or fattest noodle.... honestly the really wide ones r so delicious! A great cheap kid friendly meal! Thanks for reminding me about these...I am running out of ideas for meals....dang being home all the time....that's a lot of cooking 🤗
Thank you. It looks good going to give it a try
We found scissors work great for cutting pizza, I never liked our pizza cutter but I did get a pasta machine for Christmas and I'm looking forward to trying this recipe 😊
Love , love all your videos
Watched a couple of your videos today loved it had to get off and go buy your book!
Thank you I am with you I will eat all the carbs that so many go without on purpose. More for me yay! lol Appreciate all the things you share.
Thank you so much for the video. My mom and grandma used to make the best noodles. I haven't mastered them since they have both passed away.
Trick for hand cutting noodles...when dough is rolled thin, flour the surface and starting with the short end, roll the dough into a log...then cut noodles of preferred width...easier to cut and can be more consistent without tearing. 🤗

Okay, that was great. My daughter and I laughed and learned. Thank you, we needed that. So that is what is for dinner tonight! I think somewhere in the barn is the pasta thing-a-ma-jig you used. Hubby picked it up at a garage sale or something and I wasn't ready to tackle it. If not, I'm using the rolling pin. PS, I do own your cookbook! Was planning to do your potato-sausage soup...that will be tomorrow...change of menu. (I did try once to make pasta on my kitchen aide. DISASTER! My mom lovingly gave me the pasta maker. It's a funnel thing and I had a globby mess. Ended up rolling it out....too thick. Decided that as a home school mom and gardener/farmer {homesteading wasn't in the vocab 15 years ago} I just needed to be content with store bought.) Love your videos!!
We love some homemade noodles around our place too. Thank goodness for pasta makers! It is a godsend. So much more efficient than the old school way, but I learned from that method first. Our families expect dinner everyday?? LOL 😂
Thank you. I do use the sheet pan trick.
I've got the cookbook ... need to make this!!!
My next thing to master is pasta. You make it so eady!
the coolest thing i ever saw.... is your faucet above the stove. thanks Earl

For best results instead of all-purpose use 00 farina that is intended for pasta making. It’s ground to powder fine and contains the right amount of protein for the best pasta. It can be found on Amazon in the U.S. and will have an image of pasta on the bag. I use a mix of 00 farina and semolina. This is the method I learned in Tuscany. Using all-purpose will “work” but the pasta will never reach that higher level of the best pasta.
Just love ya 😁💕👍👍 You make me believe that I can do anything. 😂🤣 Always enjoy watching you...oh yea...my daughter bought me your cookbook...love it !!!
You’re great! Thanks
Thank you so much for your video ❤
I just got my cookbook a few days ago and it’s been a real thrill! I’ve made the honey caramel corn, the cast iron skillet bread, the sweet cream butter, and buttermilk ranch dressing. Everything was delicious and was given high praise from my family. Tomorrow’s supper is steak bites with mushrooms, roasted garlic butter, and crispy potato stacks. You did such a fantastic job on this book... often cookbooks come and they go, but I will have this one forever. Thank you!

Super. I make last time also fresh pasta. Tasty
Rocking pizza cutters never brake. I love the video!!
You’ve inspired me to make pasta.
Great! TFS!
Wow that looks so easy !! It is better than that store brought stuff!!
Great job thank you
Nice. I like your style
I am making pasta this weekend! And the pesto sauce too! I LOVE the fact that you are personally boycotting pizza cutters. Thanks for the giggle 😁
I can't live without pasta.....I will be making it.
Thanks so much! Just picked up a pasta maker from a charity shop and didn’t realise it was so easy! I’ll edit and let everyone know how dinner turned out tonight 😅
I learned how to make Pasta from an Italian Nonna. I put olive oil in my dough and I also put sourdough starter in my dough. Sourdough starter makes carbs easily digestible as it breaks down the sugars so it doesn't sit for a long period of time in the stomach as it is turning into chum
I love your videos they are so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😀😀😀😀

Thumbs up for using a bowl and not making a big mess to clean up
I bought painting sticks to hang the noodles, I put a clean sheet on the floor below the noodles it takes about 2 hours to dry, I put this in a room where we won't walk.
