I made these for Christmas 2023. I did 2 chickens, one with your recipe and the other I rubbed with a little tomato paste, little soy sauce, whole culantro placed under the skin and under the down side of the chicken, olive oil baste and your seasoning. Both chickens were a hit. I've never split a chicken before. Thank you. I SUBSCRIBED!!! Best of luck with your channel 🌿

I get my chicken from Whole Foods and they are happy to split it. I asked my son for a high quality boning knife for Christmas and I tried to do it but it’s not always a success

@@IslandVibeCooking I love how easy the recipe was! I ended up using some lemon pepper seasoning I had. It was amazing with the Italian seasoning , paprika and the butter was the secret weapon! I care for a disabled vet & I also made a plate for my neighbor who is also an older gentleman. They loved it!!!
