As an African American we got cleaning our meats from our African Ancestors. We will always clean our meats before eating.
Something I realize with our Caribbean people. In their cooking videos, foods are properly washed and cleaned. Big up!! Not saying others don't but it is being emphasized with our Caribbean people.
There’s a Black American comedian named Shuler King. He has a channel here on KZread. He shows videos about all sorts of things, with his personal commentary. He’s done a number of videos in which he speaks with disgust about people not practicing cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, and has said he NEVER eats other people’s food, for that reason. If he saw this video he would praise you to the skies, and he’d DEFINITELY eat from you, as would I. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I tried this recipe today. I am sitting at my counter with an empty plate in front of me. It was delicious! I had never made a green sauce before or cleaned my chicken with such purpose, but I followed your instructions to a "T". The backbone was the best part for sure. My family loved it too. The char on the skin, the juices on the pan, and the tenderness of the chicken made this recipe scrumptious! How do you usually serve this chicken? Thank you so much for this video.

Wow! We have benefited a lot from your cooking the past few years! We are all interconnected! Caribbean, West Africans, same people!
Wow!!!! You are my People. This was the first video of someone cooking food where I wasn't yelling at the video and saying, "You didn't do this, or what about that part!?" 😅 You touched on every part of the do's and don'ts especially with chicken. I am extremely particular when it comes to eating from other people because cleanliness is key to safe eating. I soak my chicken in apple cider vinegar with a little baking soda and water. The sight of that water after 30 minutes, tells you everything you need to know 😩 That is why thourogh cleaning of any meat is key. Thank you for showing the world that. It is a lost art that the majority of these videos on here don't even touch. Steel pan in the background was my favorite. I love a good steel pan tune. Blessings to you Sister..You did that!💕💪😋😊
