No blending for me - I don’t want an orange sauce from whipping in air. I would try a food mill for a smooth sauce.

2nd best, best is pasta grannies as they travel Italy showing different nonna recipes. I doubt even @vincenzo would argue with that

I cooked this yesterday. The only change I made is that instead of using blender I cooked it for a long time over low heat, adding some pasta water in the process, as tomato liquid was slowly evaporating. This worked amazingly well, the sauce was very creamy and flavorful. Greatly exceeded my expectations.

I remember having an Italian friend, who invited my brother and I for dinner once. I just wanna say this pasta turned out INCREDIBLE!! The only changes that I’ve done was the tomatos, I used vine instead of cherry tomatoes! We also used grana padano freshly grated! We also did chicken milanese and salad to go with it, it turned out SO GOOD!!!!! I’m definitely saving this recipe 🤩💗

@@vincenzosplate I'd recommend to cook the tomato sauce for at least 30 minutes to release a special taste and chemicals.

Impossible to not fall in love with Vincenzo's content, food is important, he is funny, the atmosphere of the videos is calm, warm and welcoming. Just brilliant. I'm Filipino, and Filipino Spaghetti tend to lean on the sweeter side. Since I had fresh basil in my garden I made this and gave it my Mom and aunt, to my surprise they absolutely loved it. I just made this 2 nights ago! It was so good I’m making it again! I adjusted the recipe with more garlic bc my family eats lots of garlic and in my culture too, and i also added spicy pepper in it. Delicious! 😊

So simple, yet looks so delicious. Tomorrow night's meal for me and my wife. Thank you once again Vincent.

@vincenzosplate I have done your Puttanesca, which was amazing aswell. Next time I want to try either cacio e pepe or aglio e olio👍. I have recently found an Italian wholesaler not too far from me so I'm gonna go get a load of pecorino Romano and quality pasta, plus some burrata as it's my wife's favourite 😋

Watching him cook is pure joy!
