How to make simple sushi at home.
Disclaimer - eat raw fish at your own risk, if you don’t want to try it raw I would always recommend using cooked ingredients if you can’t get good quality fresh fish.....
In this step-by-step video i show you that anyone can make sushi at home.
You could spend 30 years learning the skill or just follow these easy steps.
I hope you give this a go at home guys as it is super simple and super tasty.
Thanks for watching guys.
If you have enjoyed this video consider subscribing to my channel to become part of the family.
Until next time guys love ya xxxx
If you choose to eat raw salmon, make sure it has been previously blast-frozen to -31°F (-35°C), which kills any parasites in the salmon.
Still, blast-freezing does not kill all pathogens. Another thing to keep in mind is that most home freezers don’t get this cold.

I didn't follow this recipe, but the concepts were the same. My first sushi roll fell apart due to having too much rice (whoops), but the second roll came out so much better! I had never made sushi before, and I was quite suprised how tasty it came out! Also, instead of using a bamboo wrap in plastic wrap, I used a silicone sushi wrapper that I found on Amazon, and it worked well!

Also: if you're struggling with the rice, which is what I always found to be the most difficult part, this is what I do. For 2 cups of rice, to 2 and a quarter cups of water: Rinse the rice until the water runs clear, then soak the rice for 30 minutes in water. Put the rice in a pot, and make sure the pot has a lid that fits snugly. Bring the rice to a boil, and the minute the rice has come to a boil, turn it down to a simmer and set a timer for 15 minutes. DO NOT LIFT THE LID. Don't lift it while bringing it to a boil and don't lift it to check. I know it's tempting, but don't lift the lid. It lets all the steam out. Once the 15 minutes is up, move the pot off the heat, (once again, DO NOT LIFT THE LID), and wait another 15 minutes. You should have perfectly cooked, fluffy sushi rice :) works for other rices as well, I've found.

I'm making a Japanese themed comic for a friend of mine (who loves anime) for her birthday. I have a couple questions. One, what are the main condiments and toppings for sushi? And two, what are six very basic decorations for a Japanese place? Like on a door, for example.
