Very nice! I make sea moss cp soap and absolutely love the lather. I have read that sea moss promotes hair growth? Not sure if my finding are true.

Is there is there a way to incorporate sea moss into a shampoo recipe I currently use without having to purchase several of the ingredients you mention that I don't have in stock or currently use?

Yes you can. If you follow the same method I demonstrated here, it should work fine, you will replace some of your water with sea moss water. I wouldn’t go above 50% sea moss water though, you could get some separation due to the high electrolytes and also it could become too thick

FYI, sea moss is also a plant based collagen. Place sea moss in a bowl and soak for 8 hours or over night. Place clean and rinsed sea moss in a high speed blender with water. Excellent in smoothies and does wonders for you hair and nails. If you cleaned the sea moss well enough, it has no taste. I loved this video. Thank you so much.

Thank you! Yes, I have processed sea moss like this before and added it to smoothies. It adds a nice thick creamy consistency and you really can't taste it.

Very interesting! But, isn't the goal to create products using natural ingredients rather than ingredients that are difficult to pronounce? I'm not disclaiming your ability to produce any quality product, however the listing of ingredients in your description can be found in any shampoo bought off the grocery store shelves. Excellent final product, but I don't see how that is more unique or beneficial than any store bought shampoo.

I love to mimic my favorite store bought products and I am constantly researching ingredients and learning how to safely use them in my own products. Plus it is so fun to customize which does make your own formulas different than store bought. I guess everyone has their own goals.
