I make my own seamoss and sell it. I made pineapple seamoss for a couple clients a few weeks ago and it was good.

I fortunately have not run into the fishy taste but I use lemons and limes when I wash and soak my sea moss.

@PreeyBrownVegan Girl u are my kind of person, I loved the video I loved that you showed the proper way to clean the seamoss by using spring water this is extremely important. The 1 thing I suggest is adding 1 lime while u soak it it takes that fishy smell and tastes away.

I'm not really a cook, and don't like cooking. You have made this process so user friendly that I'm pumped that even I can do it successfully. I'm looking forward to my outcomes and convincing my teenage granddaughter to include the sea moss in her smoothies she loves to make. Great job. Thanks for your content.

Awesome PBV, one can also put some agave as they blend the Seamoss into its final stage. I usually soak my Seamoss with lemon and lime overnight. I will try your way, as I have gotten over the smell and taste, but you have given me some new pointers. Thanks for sharing.

You should blend it more, if that doesn’t work i would definitely check into the authenticity of the sea moss you bought. There are some people who make “fake” sea moss!

@@michaelrolinski1577 if the sea moss gets boiled the whole liquid gets consumed. I have not seen Dr. Sebi's version and have only seen (and prepared) raw sea moss gel in the last few years. If cooked, a stick of cinnamon gets added along with gum arabic, isinglass and some linseed also called flax seed. Once everything is completely translucent except the seeds, coconut or condensed milk, vanilla, maybe more cinnamon as well as a few other "cake" spices and sweetener is added. It is then blended well to break up the seeds, chilled then consumed. I have been told that i MUST grind the flax seed first then cook, then strain. That choice will be up to the consumer. Sometimes i dont grind any of it and it is good for me. I will look for Dr. Sebi's version. Enjoy!
