this may be odd but i think a cool video idea would be to talk about how often you food shop for produce and how you store it because something i struggle with is planning meals that have fresh ingredients and timing when to cook them/when the produce is still good. i hope that makes sense but i figured since you use a lot of fresh ingredients it would be interesting to hear your approach!

“A woman cannot live on dessert alone” is such a layered and perfect quote.
"Verdict: MMM" is my favorite running gag in the show. Even my fiancee knows about it, even though she hasn't seen one episode.

absolutely! i love these videos in general but i wait for the MMM with extraordinary excitement.
As a person from Tuscany that has been eating ribollita since I was born, I want to highlight the fact that it is a “piatto dei poveri” that means a dish for poor people, made with whatever you already have at home. My granny likes to keep it vegan, since cheese was expensive in the past, after wwII. I hope whoever wants to replicate the idea keeps that in mind: don’t buy expensive vegetables and ingredients in order to make it, just use whatever is sitting in you fridge and enjoy the process! 🥬🧅🥔🥖

The garlic clove faces are killing me 😆As for ideas, I want to see Claire grill something, anything.
I think it would be cool to use this series to give dinner ideas to pair with desserts from the book. That way we can keep the Dessert Person theme and still give variety.

Not with that attitude you can't.
The bread is always my favorite part of this dish too. Crispy-gone-soggy is such an underrated texture
The faces on the garlic cloves cracked me up. Love those touches.
Actually paused the video to write about how much enjoy the funny little details in your videos. Always meant to do it and would forget by the end of the video. Laughed at the slight change in the theme song, but really 😂 when I saw the little faces/expressions on the garlic cloves as you were smacking them with the knife. Enjoyed the chicken cam too. These little things, the kitties making an appearance, help to make your videos unique and truly enjoyable. Thanks 👍
I feel like I'm watching Claire from a parallel universe. She's the Dinner Person.
new theme song - HELLO?? Amazing as always, Mike!
The garlic expressions made my day!🧄
That fluffy white chicken gives me the giggles everytime 🧡 so cute 😍
@ClaireSaffitz - by accident or design, your first choice for dinner uses a baked good. You could do a whole series of savory dinner recipes using leftover bread or bread dough. Panzanilla. Savory French toast. Pizza. Breakfast casserole from different countries or cuisines. Bread crumbs and ways to use them. Croutons and dishes that use them. Lasagna with slices of stale bread instead of pasta. Soup with large crouton top. Savory bread pudding. And more that we don't commonly see or use.
I was today years old when I realized you can put Parmesan rinds in soup. I’m am *so* excited right now.

Try adding them to creamy tomato soup! Total game changer in terms of depth of flavor.
We discovered your videos during COVID times (or should I say, 2021?!) and are so happy to have found you. I seriously cannot get over how much I LOVE this stew! Checks all my boxes - vegetarian, high in fiber, nutritious, and delicious. Thank you, Claire, for sharing your genius with us outside of desserts. I look forward to learning more from you (I'm still working on the sourdough skills - my pre-shaping and shaping needs more practice!)
Now this is a series I can really get behind. I'm a crap baker but I gots to have dinnahhhhh.
Love this series already! Can't wait to see more dinners and savory food

Can't wait for more Dessert Person Dinners !
Love this type of food and love Claire's savory food. So happy about this series
The new intro is so cute! Really looking forward to this series 🥰
I stan a QUEEN
And a different theme song??! We LOVE !
this video feels like a warm hug ❤️🥺
my mouth is watering watching Claire put together this dish!
Dinner really is just the palette cleanser before dessert 🍰 always glad to see more cooking from Claire!
This was simply fantastic! I look forward to your videos every week! The Ribolitta looks absolutely amazing! Thanks!
Love this dish, what a hearty supper. The added oil helps to replace a bit of the experience of a meat broth. A couple of tips for issues Claire brought up. When chopping/dicing garlic, adding salt will help it from sticking to your knife. And for the fennel, chopping it with some oil will help prevent it from flying all over your kitchen.
so excited for this series! i miss you doing savory recipes!
i love how claire looks like she's rethinking her life choices right before saying mmm for verdict.
enjoy this, would like a summer dinner, non dessert breakfest. enjoy your cooking. thanks
Oooh ribollita is absolutely amazing
I love dessert person dinners!❤️🔥
An absolute favorite of mine, just not during the heat wave right now. Will definitely make it next week when the rains come! I am glad you mentioned how much the garlic flavor came through after cooking because I felt sorry for the little cuties as they were being smashed but it was all for a good cause. I hope you are up at the cabin in the woods right now, enjoying the clean air and watching your chickens, they are adorable! 😘
Great energy!
So happy you are adding savoury cooking to this channel
Dessert Person Dinners! LETS GOOOO!!!
love this new mini series 😍
Dinner with Claire sounds good
Love this addition to dessert person! I'd love to see some meals you like to cook in the hot summer months :)
have never heard of this sooo im very excited about this new video 🥰
“just like a lot of carbs” relatable queen
The new intro song is very Renaissance Faire in my mind I like it.
I feel like I learn so much from watching your videos because you explain why you are doing stuff at every stage and I love it
YES DINNERS ARE BACKKKK
I love the new intro music! It gives such a chill feel
Loving the new song!
this is the first meal i ever made my boyfriend one of my all time favorites!!
Wonderful video & recipe! I’m chuckling over the garlic faces! I love your teaching style. I love adding Parmesan rind to my soups. After long cooking, they soften enough for me to dice them up & put back into the stew.
I would love to see you make shakshuka.
Incredible
Im really happy with this series! I don't really bake at all (except bread) but still watch Claire's videos because I just really enjoy em, but now I can finally make stuff she puts on here more often! Also she mentioned how it's regular cooking is intuitive, I love that because back in her Gourmet makes days, that's what I enjoyed the most; when she would problem solve and create this brilliant final products!
Yum, I love cozy and hearty meals. When cooking, I find chopping relaxing so I especially liked the chopping part of the video. Soup/stew and bread is a classic combo, I didn't know there was a dish that puts them together like this. As a vegetarian, I appreciate you keeping it veggie :). Also loved the adorable faces on the garlic. More cooking videos would be great
Made this the other day and it was fantastic! Thanks for the wonderful video - love this mini series :)
I appreciate your commitment to quality.
Dinner with Clarie sounds awesome 😀
Love that you've done this dinner video! I know your focus is on desserts and that's great but for those of us who lack a sweet tooth, this was wonderful! Have missed you from your Bon Appetit days.
Here for this! 🫶🏽
Yum. I cannot wait to make this!
Great video! I enjoyed the alt of dinner to dessert. I cannot wait to see more!
Thanks , I learn something today!
whaaaat??!?! dinners? I'm SO in
Where ever Claire goes, I’ll follow!
I just love how the highest praise a dish can get is a very quick, very succinct "mmm"
I love this video
Heavily browned mire poix is the best. So much of my cooking starts out with that. When you dont have any herbs to work with it does a lot of the work.
I made your miso buttermilk biscuits the other day! Love them and have it with left over sausage and fried egg for dinner….delish!
ahh parm usually isn't vegetarian because it has rennet in it!! but it's lactose free for anyone who needs to know haha
I am so excited for this new mini-series! And that new intro is amazing 🤍
I love Claire's savoury recipes!!!
Yayyy more cooking videos would be amazing!
This looks so good 🤤
It’s been rainy & chilly all week long, I think we’ll make this tonight!
Excellent
Really like the idea of more dinner stuff! I'm going to have to make a ribollita now
Many thanks for sharing this recipe. My mouth is watering watching you prepare this! Looking forward to your new series. Thank you again.
Thanks you! Even though it was 88° (5% humidity) today, i made it for dinner tonight.
QUEEN!
So cute
It brings me joy to learn that Claire and I a) both find chopping to be meditative and b) chop onions the same way 😌

Amazing
Definitely going to make this one! Coming into winter here in Melbourne Australia, will be perfect cosy soup for dinner time! Thanks Claire 😊
Love you doing some Mediterranean dishes!!
Amazing 😍
Just made this for dinner! It was divine. It’s absolutely worth it to use dried beans and make bean stock. I added some crumbled Italian sausage to the soup. Served it with a shaved fennel, apple, and lettuce salad. Wonderful. Thank you Claire!
the little smashed garlic faces are WONDERFUL. I think we need more of them.
The stew looks delicious. I'm saving this, my doctor will thank you. I also adore garlic rubbed toast. I make a very finely chopped kalamata olive/salt/olive oil paste and eat it on the garliced toast. Yummy snack.
nice jingle!
Good soup... no seriously, one of the better recipes I've made in a while!
Yes! Wait, let me grab a cup of tea😀
