Great overview and thanks so much for explaining why my protein kept getting baked - what a difference!

My doctor advised me that I should be supplementing protein because of my adhd and in true adhd form I was looking for the simplest way to do so 😂 thank you so much for this vid, I was worried that adding protein to my morning would be difficult, but this makes so much sense!

This is so interesting. I initially started increasing my protein intake because I wanted to get stronger / grow my muscles. But I've noticed a massive decrease in by adhd symptoms too. I can think so much more clearly, have more energy, I'm better at making decisions and feel less overwhelmed in situations I'd previously find stressfull (Like busy supermarkets). I've also noticed a reduction in my PMS symtoms too. It's fantastic!
This was good. I am LOVING Dr. Atkins protein coffee, but at 7 for a 6-pack, I need to start making my own. I can also add in some MCT. Good video.
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it. I love my coffee!!

I have severe anemia and I had weight loss surgery 24 years ago. Will this protein help me build up blood. I have problem digesting meat so I have to try these shakes...again.
corn syrup, maltodetrin, natural amnd artificial flavors,sucralose, soy lecithin, blue and red dyes
If you want it hot, can it be microwaved (without the whipped cream) after preparation?
Shes so pretty 🥰
I would switch the ingredients towards organic like organic light bean coffee,add MCT oil and either organic coconut milk or Almond milk. There's organic whip cream as well out there.

The one I have is from Amazon and it's a little older. I found one that isn't the exact same but is very similar plus all the awesome attachments: rstyle.me/+3S6jzSdbCNsQ46avlvgMOQ
Would love the link for the frother

I heard about this on pinterest and I was like " Wait WHAT? " and came to youtube to see videos. I will try it tomorrow morning.(and it is midnight almost now so I'll need it) I have agreed with my husband I won't do sugars and I like my coffee sweet and cold but the sugar amount is too much so I thought I'd have to give it up. But not anymore!

@@drlindseyschmidt it tastes pretty good. Not to die for or make every morning, I'm not a big coffee junkie like my husband who takes his straight black every morning, but I know a good healthy way to make coffee now.
Is there a sugar free whipped cream ?
Coffee frother is that device you didn’t know you needed until you got one. This general idea still work if you want to ice your coffee? I would think so…
@drlindseyschmidt

It should be fine but I would personally mix it with the frother before adding in the ice.
If the protein gets "baked", is it still nutritious or just bad texture? Does scorching hot coffee change the nutrition value of the protein? I can deal with clumps but I cannot deal with the protein getting destroyed and not being useful anymore to my body. Also, I like my coffee to be piping hot. I'm searching as many videos as possible to get the answer to this question.

@@aastha5772 I take a small amount of cold water from my brita filter and pour it into a cup. It's about 4-6 ounces. I heat that for 20 seconds in the microwave so its not so cold. I put the scoop of protein in that and mix it using a handheld battery powered mixer. Then I pour hot coffee in it and mix that using a normal coffee stirer or spoon. The protein mixes well with room temperature water which is why I heat the cold/refrigerated Brita water to room temperature. Once it is mixed with room temp water, it will mix well with the hot coffee. This is how I take my coffee every morning.

@@tastybrownie7448 Thankyou for such a detailed clarification! 😀 Just wanted to know, doesnt the hot temperature from hot coffee destroy the Protein even after you've mixed it with room temperature filter?
@tastybrownie7448
Жыл бұрын
@@aastha5772 Nope, it mixes well they way that I described and gives it a creamy latte type of texture. There are even recipes for making baked pastries with protein powder in it. There is even a way to make oatmeal by mixing protein into the water before pouring it into the oatmeal. You do not have to worry about destroying the protein. You only need to worry about clumpiness versus smooth well mixed texture !!

Yay!! I'm glad you got it to mix! I'll usually add a little bit of choice milk to make sure the coffee isn't too hot otherwise it'll cook the protein and make it clumpy
I brew coffee into my shaker bottle add a little ice and a scoop of protein and shake it out the door lol

I get so hungry during the day it sucks. I need to have a super filling breakfast to be full from like 8-1pm but it’s tough to find the solution, I even tried fasting or eating a bit to hold on til 12… can I do this in smaller portion with food? I’m guessing I just don’t have enough protein in my breakfast …
@drlindseyschmidt

I understand that it is tough! I like to front load my day with nutrients and protein - so for you, having a bigger breakfast with more protein may be just what is needed. I do protein coffee with a banana pancake which is just a mashed banana - 2 eggs + baking soda mixed - make it like a pancake! Then, have my protein coffee with it!

Is muscle milk powder ok to use?

Great question! I've personally never tried using Muscle Milk in my coffee. It will all depend on what type of protein it is as well as any other fillers it contains. Some protein powders or collagen powders work better than others
