Protein Powder Review - The BEST Protein Powder To Buy & What To Avoid!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

After lots of research, I am finally ready to reveal which are the best protein powders to buy. This video was a beast to make because the more I started researching, the more information I keep discovering. Between plant based protein powder, whey protein powder, organic and grass-fed protein powder, there are lots of things to look at. So many of the protein powders in this review video had 95% fantastic ingredients, but almost all of them have natural flavors, and you know how I feel about this. In the end, I found some incredibly high quality p,anted based and whey protein powder I feel incredibly confident recommending to you. Mad love Bobby...Dessi...and Art! XOXO

I'm one of those who examines EVERY label of the food I buy. I am convinced that mass marketed commercialized food is something to be avoided whenever possible. Farmer's Market's and personal gardens are the best!

You guys are doing a great job! At 78 and on Atkins for 23 years my first rule for checking out products is will I live long enough at my age to read the entire list of ingredients? Next, how low are the carbs which make me fat and hungry. You are saving me a lot of time so that it's easy to pick out what the best products are before even entering the store. I really appreciate your low carb recipes as well. Carbs "trigger" my appetite big time! All the best. (Mike Scott, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)

I've been watching a few your videos and i find them painfully overwhelming (in a good way). Its crazy that the average person who spends big money on supps to improve their health are often buying utter bullsh*t at times. This tells me i gotta have a lil notepad file on my phone to list the things to avoid. I've checked alot of my supps at home and so many things to avoid are in there. This is why its so important we educate ourselves on what these companies are putting in their supplements. Keep up the good work.

It's amazing how many responses this video received! I been reading them for an hour and I'd read more if I had time. I've been watching the videos for a little over a month. I enjoy them for their information. I like the point that he goes to several stores to check products out, and also doesn't tell you that a product is good or bad for you, but the good & bad pn each product that has bad ingredients in it. I also learn a lot from the comments. People are so open about their experiences with products. I love and appreciate this. A friend recently told me that there are many countries in the world that we can't export our food to because it is so junky. Other foods have to be reformulated before being exported. In a video, I watched on another channel, the Dr. was comparing U.S. sausage to bratwurst ( German sausage). It turns out the German diet is full of fried foods, greasy foods ... The very foods we in the US are told are bad for us. Yet the people there don't get the diseases we get here or the incidents are a greatly reduced #. What gives? Im curious as to why when I go to Indian 6 favorite dish Tandoori chicken is always made with skin on, dark meat chicken? Very few restaurants that aren't American that use white meat chicken leave the skin on? Chicken soup is made with chicken that is not deskinned & matzo ball s are made with chickenbfat( if not Americanized),! Do they know something we don't? Or are the powers that be here keeping something from us? Recently, I opened a can of tuna from a food bank. I won't say the brand, its one of the national brands. I'm almost 64 y.o. I've been eating canned tuna since I was about 4 y.o. I spit the first forkful right down the garbage disposal. It almost gagged! It tasted so bad! But not spoiled! I read the label! It had soy in it! Why soy! I called friends and told them I couldn't believe there was soy in my tuna. One of them laughed at me! They both said because tuna is e expensive and the soy allows the tuna to be sold at a more competitive price! As soon as I was off the phone, I went through all the tuna and got rid of all the cans with soy in it. I'm not a fan of sardines: however, on a recent grocery trip, I saw all the brands except one were on sale. I read all the labels. One of them had another fish in it, no sardines! I said outloud ( not meaning to), I don't believe this ! I got some looks! One person came up to me and asked what the problem was. I told her that there weren't any sardines in this can of sardines! Now I had the attention of everyone on the aisle. She said that can't be! So, I turned the can around. She became as white as a sheet. She said you're right! We went back to our shopping. Later she approached me, with cell phone in hand. She'd asked her cellphone how this could be. The answer was shocking. Under law they are able to do this because the other fish is about the same size, and tastes close up. We were both shocked! T h at means they can outrightly lie.

Nice comparison! A couple of things: a long time ago, there was a movement toward having "complete proteins" in every single meal. A Complete Protein meal, for example, would be Pinto Beans and Cornbread (bean and corn), or Walnut Oatmeal burgers (nuts/seeds and oats), or even Red Beans and Brown Rice (beans and brown rice). The idea is that beans, for example, provide certain essential proteins and corn, for example, provides different essential proteins. Pair them up and you have a complete protein profile for your meal. Over time, scientific discovery has proven that we do need complete proteins, but if you spread them out through the day, you are good. Your body does not need to have complete proteins at every meal., just through the course of the day. With that said, having a "complete protein" meal shake is great, but not necessarily something we have to have in each shake. if you have an incomplete protein meal shake, add some nut butter or seeds to the shake, you will get your complete protein. This maybe puts some of the incomplete protein shakes back in the ballpark, and may save on costs. Also, there is a huge distinction between a meal replacement shake to a protein shake (protein shakes are good after a workout, and are structured with cetrain proteins to rebuild muscle). Thank you again for your analysis.

Hey Bobby I love what you do! Just started following you about a month ago. I use the Garden of Life protein shake but it says on the app it's not approved because of sugar but the label says organic stevia. Would you be able to revisit this entry, as well as powdered peanut butter. There was one that was not approved but it uses brown coconut sugar. Thank you.

Thank you for uploads. Consumer Labs is another spot-on source of information for myriad topics including this one. Levels of lead and arsenic surrounding various facets of production are all too real in protein powders even among some rather pricey examples. Consumer Labs does research-based and exhaustive reviews on protein powders and numerous other pertinent subjects. At less than $16, Now Organic Pea seems a great choice especially for individuals averse to milk products. Let me know your opinion. Cheers.

Carrageenan is a common food additive extracted from red seaweed. Manufacturers often use it as a thickening agent. Though it's been used for hundreds of years and is indeed organic, there's damning health research around Carrageenan, suggesting that it is not necessarily safe to eat. It's been linked to IBD, IBS, rheumatoid arthritis and colon cancer and is thus banned in the European Union

When I switched to real food powders my stomach and wallet got better. Protein powder has no regulations in u.s. as are consider supplements. I switched to real food grade in milk powder, pea protein powder, peanut powder, nutritional yeast powder, and egg white powder that I make myself by boiling eggs peeling then dehydrate in food dehydrator then grind into a powder. The egg shells can also be made into a powder for more protein, minerals, calcium.
