This is one of the best recipe vids ever made. So many secrets and as well as scientific explanations and straightforward recommendations like specific foods to eat and avoid. Perhaps only a modest intake of fermented foods would be 1-2 / week? Def not needed every day, right?

Wow! So happy I discovered these videos. I've been questioning fermented vegetables for years now. 8 or so years ago I started eating them. As time went on they agreed with me less and less. I've been trying to heal my gut for the last couple years and keep reading how good they are so I've continued on and off to get them. Thinking that perhaps I haven't found the right ones. Now I know they aren't really good for anyone. Thank you for these videos!!

Dear Doc! Like your videos! Just really needed to comment on your video titles because I think that your information is so important but many people may miss great information because the titles of your videos are too specific to a certain malady or condition, and, not having that condition many people skip the video thinking that it doesn’t apply to them when really each video is packed with such valuable nutritional information! Have you thought about naming them something beginning with a generic “Nutritional Talk #1” and then adding on something like “Can apply to weight loss” or “Also applies to eating to reverse Lupus”? (I need the last one!) My son probably wouldn’t watch a weight loss video because he’s tall and skinny but might watch a more general nutritional information video. Just my thoughts…Thank you! 💕

I would be interested to know more about the cancer risk of fermented foods. All Ive heard from nutritionists and holistic dietitians is that they are good for you in every way. Aside from the botulism toxin that is a low risk if done correctly, this is the first Ive heard of a link to a serious concern such as gastric cancer…😮. Also, I’ve never seen sun chokes either! 😅

My breakfast cooked grains recipe: Pre soak overnight a tablespoon each or 3 tablespoons of whole grains. Drain, rinse, cover with 1/2" water, add a handful of walnuts, slowly simmer, covered. (it takes a bit 'o time) Go out for a walk and maybe if you like, a pipe. Come back and prep some blueberries and strawberries by washing and cutting the strawberries. Add a tbs of ground flax, a couple of nutritional yeast, some ceylon cinnamon. The game changer for this bowl is one chopped Medjool date. Grains I'm using currently are hulled barley, spelt, whole oats and quinoa.

Why are you saying you won't eat any pickled vegetables because of gastic cancer risk, when we now know that the other key factor is h pyllori. The anti-kimchi argument is that the highest rates are in South korea and Japan, the 2 countries that eat the most kimchi, but that's also where h pylorri rates are highest. We have a breath test for it. Having holes in your stomach is not good, clearly putting this highly acidic food when in that state is a bad idea.
