I'm the kind of person dat can't make jollof rice to save my life. My jollof rice is always soggy and undercooked at the same time 😊. The spirit of ur jollof rice after watchin it kept on visitin me in my dreams and one day I was jst like..."I must make dis rice". I bought all the ingredients I needed and I started followin d video step by step. My rice tasted so delicious and it wasn't soggy at all, dat I kept on askin myself if I truly made the jollof rice. Thank u so much for all ur videos 😍

I bet you all those thumb downs don't know how to cook. Your videos always make me hungry
I can perserve the smell... Smells good😋😋
Janet your cooking looks amazing but your video would be a better teaching material if you shared your ingredient quantities OR measurements first; followed by preparation of ingredients required ahead of time; and then the step by step process. Also, whilst you told viewers the brand of rice used , you failed to mention the type of rice you used. Was it Sella basmati, ordinary basmati, easy cook long grain or jasmine rice? That would affect the end product if viewers went off to use any type of rice. Tolly Boy mills various types of rice. Lastly, was your washed rice half-cooked or raw before adding to sauce?
I love how it turned out one one
wooowww ilove this am from Uganda but I enjoy nigerian food

Hello...good day to u all. I just would love to tell u that Jesus loves you He saves and He cares for u There's nothing in this world to compare with the joy of knowing and accepting Jesus into your heart and life And nothing to compare with the glory that will soon be revealed in them who believe on Him- Heaven. To make heaven u have to accept Jesus and follow Him all d way, but to reject Him is to refuse peace, joy and everlasting life n happiness- in heaven. Pls choose Jesus today and your sins will be washed away and u will be totally a free and new man. Thanks and God bless u. Amen

Sis am glad i found your channel, all the steps you talked about i know, but the last step have never come across, ( I mean the sauce you added), Brilliant i will try it. I noticed you didnt add any margarine, and also if you want to have that firewood taste without using firewood, go get LIQUID SMOKE syrup, that is what i use here in the state, and i get alot of compliment, and am always booked every weekend for my catering services. You can google it before you purchase it.

Wow! God bless you real good for this lovely sister, in fact, I have subscribed. But I always blend fresh tomatoes with other pepper to avoid tin tomatoes throughout even for two coolers of jollof rice. What do you think about that?

This is amazing. I am seeing lots of comments on using butter. I think it's not necessary when making large portions. How much butter would you use when making one bag of rice😂. You can add butter when making your little portions at home. 😉😉

Butter makes the rice stick and hence becomes soggy
Too much oil but fine
@flourish5blessing424
6 жыл бұрын
Peace Birungi it is the oil that prevents the rice from sticking together when you stir it so much. When the rice is put in the cooler, the oil seeps to the bottom. So the tip is, avoid "bottom pot" because the rice at the bottom is usually the most oily.
Beautiful job.well done!
