How to Make Natural Red Wine at Home
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I decided to make this wine purely from my love of fermented foods and my desire to keep things simple. It’s made with one and only ingredient-red wine pinot noir grapes.

When I was 13, I heard my mother talking about wine she an her colleagues made, so after questioning her about the process, I took a pint jar of grape juice and kept it under my bed, i strained it couple times and add some sugar each time. After about 22 weeks it was ready. My cousin and I were afraid to taste it, so I took it to my mom. She asked where did we get it. I confess that I made it. It was a sweet heavy dessert type wine. Everyone liked it, so I continued to make more every Christmas and became know as “the little ole winemaker.”😂

Well, natural wine in general is very dangerous ! How can you leave up to nature not to get contaminated. It's a crapshoot

Wine grapes dont need any added sugar. Only fruit or berry wines need added sugar.
Thank you about sharing the beautiful technic of making traditional wine. I never know this before.
Thanks ! I’m in Sonoma Ca and and going to be able to “ second pick” a wonderful vineyard this year. Going to make some!
Beautiful! We have 8 Tempranillo vines on year 2 this year, so next year we do this process! Thank you for sharing!
What a wonderful winemaking video. Thank you. With the beautiful music in the background and your comments about how peaceful and joyful the fermentation process is, it felt more like a meditation video than a wine making one. Peace and joy my friend.
I just made some coffee wine, ginger beer, vegan kimchi, pineapple and apple vinegar from scraps. I love fermenting

If you want wine just for aesthetic reasons I agree this video is fine to watch. But. To make a real wine and good quality, drinkable one go find another tutorial as this one has too many mistakes during the process. The person here claims doesn't drink it, so ...
This was so beautifully filmed & the content was perfect. You will inspire many, as you have inspired me. Thank you x
Make a grape press with 3 buckets, it's really easy and you can use your whole weight to press the grape (or flat stones). One bucket to receive the juice, one bucket to act as a strainer (drill holes) and one bucket to press on the grape (can be filled with stones or water for increased weight). It was very simple and easy, and I got most of the juice out of the grapes. Loved the video, very relaxing to watch !
Enjoyed the whole graceful process. Loved every little subtitles and explanations to fill the gap.
I'm growing my own grapes, taking a wine making class this next month, and I hope to take it all the way from start to finish next year. From Vine to Wine.
So proud of you. The best and most educated and informing KZread video I have watched this year. Thanks a million. I'll follow your footsteps to make mine.
J'ai vraiment aimé cette façon de faire du vin à l'ancienne et surtout sans ajout ❤. Merci pour le petit cours ma fois très instructif❤

Amazing & Wonderful! Yes, I often listen to country music when it's convenient & of course every 3 months or so I do enjoy a glass of red wine with my meals. Currently not quite possible now but I hope to buy a bottle when I go into town. I hope I may try my hand at making some red wine. Thank you for sharing this video. Hi I'm trying to make wine for the first time and your video inspired me to try it out without adding any ingredients. Only difference, I didn't wash the grapes. So far it's looking good, as far as can tell.
It looks beautiful and tasty!
Beautifully made
Normally, I fast forward videos and watch. But for this video, I did reverse too many times. It has so many small points to remember that I loved to watch repeatedly. This encouraged me to make my own wine and, I am sure; I will be shooting too many questions here for u in the near future. Thank you for a lovely video. Appreciate it. (And what I liked it is, it's pure wine without yeast and all).

Nice, the old-fashioned way. However, it would have been good to know more details about the taste outcome of the wine made in this process, how dry or sweet it was, and the alcohol level too.
Thank you, great video
So glad you can make wine with no chemicals!
For the small quantities you produce, you can replace the press with a potato masher. You used very high quality grapes and I have the impression that you did not need sodium bisulphite but know that, depending on many factors (temperature, quality of the grapes, less cleanliness) bisulphite is also used in the initial phases after the first pressing. Sometimes it is better to use bisulfite immediately and add selected yeasts
it was perfect, perfect, down to the last minute details

I wonder if you develop these recipes yourself, or where you take the recipes from. What's your background about fermented foods? Love your content and if you could make an FAQ video about yourself, it would be great. You can do it with subtitles as well, if you don't want to talk. Keep on producing these videos ❤

Yes, this method of making wine is my own preference. It goes through the same fermentation, racking and bottling. I just don't add any yeast or sulfites to it. I started to experiment on fermenting my foods about 10 years ago when I happened to learn about phytic acid. After seeing good results in my own and my family health, fermenting has become a big part of my cooking. Thank you for the idea of an FAQ video, I might do it someday. In the mean time, you can read about myself at the about page on my website. Thank you so much for watching my videos!

Thanks
I really enjoyed watching the whole process of making red wine. With the delicacy you make your wine, it shows that your wine would be of good taste and great quality. Try making wine with cherry🍒 next time. Waiting until next video.
Wow, i love the way it is done... As an wine lover and someone learning the art. I can see your passion into this work... I dream of creating my own wine collection here @ home in the caribbean and hopefully will master this art.
Awesome❤
Hi, its totally amazing to see how patiently and perfectly your doing what you love… thankyou for sharing this amazing process with us…. Just one doubt.. should we leave it to ferment in a dark place throughout till racking..

Good day. Could you advise me on the following? If grapes are soaked, does it wash away the yeasts that facilitate fermentation?
