Making 6 figures doing Excel from home! I started doing budgets and staffing models for $40-60K, transitioned into IT PM work, then started working with Power Pivot and SQL! Used to work in an office but moved to full time telecommuter 3 years ago. Next stop, $150K from the beach (I hope).

And then you see full time fiverr people actually quitting because in reality it's bad. While meanwhile, all these are almost useless to people in third world countries who really this type of work help the most because a lot of online paying services such as paypal are banned.

This video understates how much work is required for VBA. It also overstates the amount of 'entry level' excel work that is available.

Yeah VBA is very advanced.. well beyond just being an advanced Excel user. I have created some automations via VBA/macros but I feel like an amateur compared to what some are capable of.

Back in the day, I learned Lotus, then translated to Excel. Through use, I have expanded my abilities and currently use it for organizational tasks and statistical analysis. Too much of what employers/customers want from excel has nothing to do with data management, analysis or manipulation. They want pretty screen graphics.

When I went to school, we did not have computers, and the Internet did not exist yet. While I have Excel as part of my Office 365, I don't really have enough knowledge about it. I'm glad I found this video.

Thank you for sharing this useful info and motivating us. Didn't know that there is so much potential to use Excel skills to earn online through such honest work!

Problem with fiver and upwork is that eventhough ur good at what u do, u have enough competition out there and most of the clients tend to offer work for someone who has reviews and previous work experience and neglect someone who would want to start their journey as a freelancer

Easy way around this is to buy bots for fake reviews and ratings just to get yourself in a known spot. Unethical? Hell no. I got bills too. Lmao

@@perfectpeace4691 , I don't do the ordinary stuff you'll find on KZread, I built tools like systems in excel, that can be used in medium to large businesses. The tools are normally built for staff to be able to do their work, most of the time it's better than the million dollar systems the company's buy. I have built allocation tool that allocations stock to over 600 stores based on a stores individual sales and stock. All the staff member needs is a list of stores with a list of products and some criteria then the tool does the rest. Thats just one of the tools. I built pricing tools, promotional tools, switching tools, canabalization tools, forecasting tools, write off risk base on expiry tools, launching new products in a business tools etc. So happy to help where I can.

I tried to work on Upwork, but had such a bad experience. Those sites stimulate competition among workers and devalue their wages to the ground. The jobs offered are usually the bottom of the barrel, they require too much, pay little, and have too much competition with people from poorer countries offering to do them for pennies. They are also ridden with literal beggars, people asking for money without even offering to do the job.
